Additional Persecution News from China – November 26, 2015 (Part I, 14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ren Haiting Arrested

Mr. Ren Haiting, with the Dongying Geophysical Research Institute, was arrested at work by officers from the Jidi Police Department on the morning of November 24, 2015. He has not returned home.

2. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Kuang Changyun Arrested

A group of 20 or so, including Chen Xiaojun, head of the Nanyue District Domestic Security Division, Liu Xiong, director of the 610 Office, and officers from the Damiao Police Station, broke into Ms. Kuang Changyun's home and ransacked it on the morning of November 21, 2015. They confiscated a computer, a printer, two boxes of printing paper, three photos of the founder of Falun Gong, over 40 copies of Falun Dafa books, 100 yuan in cash, and printed materials. Ms. Kuang was taken to the police department. She was released and taken home at noon.

3. [Xining City, Qinghai Province] Mr. Ma Yushan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Officers from the Domestic Security Division, the Yunjiakou Police Station, and Community personnel arrested Mr. Ma Yushan. He was taken to the Shengyin Hotel Brainwashing Center.

4. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tian Qiumei Detained

Ms. Tian Qiumei, a teacher at Shanmen University, was arrested on October 13, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was taken to the Siping Detention Center after she had been detained for 15 days.

5. [Jingyu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Fengqin and Ms. Wang Shuying Detained

Officers from the Jingyu County Police Department arrested Ms. Zhang Fengqin and Ms. Wang Shuying on November 12, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Both women were taken to the Baishan City Detention Center that evening.

The police department filed paperwork to officially place them under arrest and to sentence them to one to two years in prison. However, the county procuratorate rejected the filing. Both practitioners were detained for seven days. They returned home on November 19, 2015.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Zhou Qifang, Mr. Liu Qijian, Mr. Zhu Yongxiang, and Ms. Gao Sijie, from Zhihe Town in Pengzhou City, were harassed on November 20, 2015. The local farm brigade Chinese Communist Party secretary showed up at their homes to ask them whether they had filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. The secretary also took photos of them without their permission.

7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners were arrested on November 23, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. They are Ms. Yang Yanqiu and Mr. Li Fusheng from the Ang'angxi District and Ms. Qi Xiaohong and Ms. Liang Shuqing from the Longsha District.

8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Yongjian and Mr. Wang Xueyong Arrested

Mr. Gao Yongjian and Mr. Wang Xueyong, who work at the Gudao Oil Gas Branch Factory in the Shengli Oilfield, were arrested on November 25, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Their homes were ransacked.

9. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Sihua Detained

Mr. Liu Sihua was detained on November 23, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.

10. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Huaguo Arrested

Mr. Liu Huaguo was arrested on November 25, 2015.

11. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Guijiao from the Jianhua District was arrested at home by officers from the Jianshelu Police Station on November 23, 2015.

Mr. Tian Gang was arrested at home by Fuyu County Police Department officers on November 23, 2015. His home was ransacked. His brother-in-law was arrested at home by officers from the Jianghua District on November 23, 2015.

12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sheng Yuqing Detained

Ms. Sheng Yuqing, a teacher with the West Experimental Primary School, was arrested at home by officers from the Yongjijie Police Station in the Fengrun District at noon on November 19, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Four practitioners have been detained in the Fengrun Detention Center.

13. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison, One for 7 1/2 Years

Mr. Wang Jianfu, Mr. Ma Zhanquan, and Ms. Jia Fengzhi of the Pinggu District have been detained for over 10 months. They were sentenced in the Pinggu Court on November 20, 2015. Ms. Wang was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison. Mr. Ma and Ms. Jia were each sentenced to 2 years in prison.

14. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Mr. Dong Guozhi's home was ransacked for the fourth time by officers from the Longquan Police Station on November 18, 2015. He escaped. His wife was taken to the police station for questioning.

The police also made out a detention warrant so that they can detain Mr. Zhang Jinbao if they find him.

Yu Haiyan, head of the Bayan County Domestic Security Division, and other officers went to Ms. Gao Shuxia's workplace on November 19, 2015, and then to her home in an attempt to arrest her. They returned to her workplace the following day to harass her, but she was not there.
