(Minghui.org) It has been 17 years since October 21, 1997, when I began practicing Falun Gong. However, in this experience sharing article I will cover the past three years on my cultivation path.

I was released from a nine-year prison term on October 26, 2011. My memory remains fresh when it comes to what I suffered in prison, yet nothing could shake my faith in Master and the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Restarting Life from Scratch

After I was released, I was destitute and alone, because my employer had fired me, and my wife had divorced me and remarried. My son had a stepfather.

Master said:

“Abundant troubles rain down togetherAll to see: Can you pull through?”(“Tempering the Will” from Hong Yin)

My heart was filled with bitterness and I was desperate. I wondered, "What should I do? Where is my future?" Again I remembered Master's Fa:

“Cultivation is the process that enables a human being to ascend to heaven and become a god, so how could it not be hard?” (“My Version of a 'Stick Wake-up'”)

It did not take long before I regrew my backbone, and told myself that nothing can stop me from cultivating, since I have Master and Falun Gong in my heart. But I had to restart my life from scratch.

My father, who is in his seventies, was alone on a forestry farm in the mountains. I rented an apartment locally and had him move in with me.

Dealing With Bureaucracy

The next step was to get an identification card (ID), which I needed to find a job. I went to the residence registration office of the Forestry Bureau to apply for an ID in early November 2011. I was told, “You need a residence permit from the police station in your area.”

I went to the police station, showed them my prison release certificate, and asked for a residency permit. They were alarmed when I told them that I was a Falun Gong practitioner, and gave me the runaround. They said that I should register with the police station of the forestry farm in the mountains.

I called the forestry farm police station but was told, “According to regulations, you should be registered where you lived before you served your sentence.”

Back I went to my local police station, when the officer said, “You can't register under your name, but you can register under the name of a relative or friend who is registered in this office.”

I was disappointed, but then remembered Master's words:

“Wherever a problem arises, that's where you need to clarify the facts.” (“Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference”)

The next day I went back to the same officer, who pretended not to see me. I said, “As a police officer in charge of this residential area, you are responsible for registering me based on current regulations. As a resident of this area, I am fully eligible. It is your duty to register me and issue me an ID card.”

He made no comment, so I said, “I practice Falun Gong and try to be a good person. I was illegally sentenced. I am innocent and have not harmed anyone. I am here to be registered as a resident, yet you snub me. If you will not do your job, I will go find someone else.”

I decided I would contact every one of his superiors until I got my registration, but first I tried one more time. I told the officer that he had to give me his decision that day.

He was very polite, recorded all the information that was needed, and helped me complete the application forms. The station chief then showed up. He said, “If you state that you will give up Falun Gong we will complete the registration immediately.” “Since the practice is good for my health,” I asked him, “why should I renounce it?”

The officers had a heated discussion, and some repeated the CCP's lies about Falun Gong. I remained calm and sent forth righteous thoughts. In the end, everyone left, with the exception of the officer I had been dealing with from the beginning. He said, “You can practice at home if you truly think it is good.” He completed my registration, and seven days later I got my ID card.

Coordinating Group Fa Study and Truth Clarification

I encountered interference when I decided to set up a Fa study group. A police officer called and said, “Nothing serious, but I need to see you alone lest things get complicated. I hope you understand--I am doing this for your own good.”

He took me to an office, handed me a paper and pen, and said, “I heard that some practitioners in your district will be having a meeting. Please write a statement saying that you won't join them.”

I said, “Too many times have I been forced to write such statements, but you do not need to worry about me. We practitioners are always good to others and you can rest assured that you will be fine. If there is nothing else, I will return home.”

He expressed his worries on my way out, because he needed his job. In turn, I told him not to worry. He never contacted me again.

I attribute the positive outcome to my strong righteous thoughts, and lack of fear.

Fellow practitioners and I study the Fa at my home once each week. We send forth righteous thought together, and then distribute information containing facts about Falun Gong. Everyone in our area has been given Falun Gong materials.

“Chariot Invincible”

My father bought me a three-wheeled motorcycle in October 2012. I use it as a taxi, and to deliver Falun Gong materials. I named it “Chariot Invincible.”

With the motorcycle I can cover a wide area. Many of my passengers have learned the facts about Falun Gong and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. I give them DVDs of the Shen Yun show, and software to break through the Internet blockade.

When printers or computers malfunction, and local practitioners can't fix them, I take them to other practitioners with technical know-how. There is so much I can do with my motorcycle.

I do not think that the motorcycle belongs to me—it is a Falun Gong instrument that Master has given me.

Currency an Excellent Way to Publicize Falun Gong

The three-wheeled motorcycle taxi is a popular form of public transport in my area, because it is quite cheap and can haul passengers as well as cargo.

Passengers pay one yuan each, and I can earn between 100 and 200 yuan per day. I always use bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them when I give change.

One day I stopped to buy vegetables from a vendor. I took out a stack of bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them to pay. When he saw that I had a lot of small bills, he asked if I could make change for him.

I told him that the bills had Falun Gong information printed on them, and asked him if he dared to use them. He said, “Why not? I didn't put the words on them.” I made change for him, told him the facts about Falun Gong, and helped him quit the CCP.

It appears that people no longer hesitate to accept currency with Falun Gong information printed on it.

My fellow practitioners, the great cosmic mandate is upon us and we must not let it slip away. Let us cultivate diligently and fulfill the pledges that we had made before we descended to this world.

Thank you, Master! Than you, my fellow practitioners!
