(Minghui.org) When the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, most Chinese people, even the friends of practitioners, were either deceived by the Party's propaganda or were too afraid to support Falun Gong. However, in recent times, many friends and former colleagues have come to understand the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, and are offering their help and support.
Copy Service Shop Owner Offers Assistance
Our local material production site was destroyed in 2001, which necessitated having copies printed at a copy service shop.
The owner said, “I don't dare to copy the materials for you. The Public Security Bureau instructed us not to print materials for Falun Gong. Not only that, we also have to turn in Falun Gong practitioners.”
“This instruction was passed down long ago. Didn't I always print the materials here? You are earning money from printing the materials. At the same time, you will also receive blessings because you helped practitioners,” I responded.
I spoke of my cultivation experiences and the persecution of Falun Gong. Finally, she asked me not to mention her shop if I were arrested. I eased her mind by telling her that I was released not long ago and my brother-in-law, who had the materials printed at his shop, was detained for three months. Despite this, no one from the Public Security Bureau came to see him. She soon agreed to copy the materials.
We established another material production site and no longer used her services. However, I needed a copy of my annual medical examination report and used her shop. She asked why I had not returned, and I told her that we had established a site and thanked her for her help.
She responded, “I must thank you. I have indeed received blessings. My husband and three of his colleagues were in an accident. His colleagues were severely injured and my husband was not hurt. He believe that we received blessings because we helped Falun Gong. My children also received blessings. Thank you so much.”
“Leave Quickly”
After I was released from prison, I gave Falun Gong materials to a delivery man, who was in reality a plainclothes officer, while on my way to work.
That person looked at the materials and said that he was from the Public Security Bureau. I told him to read the materials. He asked me to come with him and then made phone calls while holding on to me.
I could tell that he asked his colleagues to come and arrest me. I asked Master for help, with a righteous thought that I must stay out of detention in order to inform more people about the persecution.
At that moment, a man I knew walked by. He saw the man who held me and asked me, “What did you do this time, sis?” The plainclothes officer let go of me in surprise and said, “Your sister? She gave this to me.” That man, who must have been the officer's superior, told me to “leave quickly.”
Honoring Falun Gong
Once I attended a wedding dinner, and a former colleague who now owns a business was also present. I had given him a copy of the Nine Commentaries and he decided to quit the CCP. At the dinner he suggested that everyone raise their glass and say “Falun Gong is good.” All 14 people did so enthusiastically.
There were over one hundred people at the restaurant, and soon Falun Gong was being discussed all over the restaurant. I took this opportunity to distribute the Falun Gong materials that I had with me.
