Ms. Li Zhenjin Facing Trial After Seven Month Detention

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Zhenjin from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province has been illegally detained for over seven months.

The court returned her case to the Procuratorate, given the lack of evidence, in late March, who returned the case to the police department. The case was sent back to the court on May 21, 2015.

Lawyer Mr. Li Jinglin from the Beijing Xin Qiao Law Firm visited Ms. Li on May 14 in the Dongjingcheng Forestry Detention Center. They met for 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Mr. Li visited the Dongjingcheng Forestry Court director the next day and was told that the case was still at the Procuratorate. Mr. Li went to the Procuratorate and viewed the case for about an hour and a half.

Ms. Li was arrested on October 15, 2014 by chief Zhao Zixin, Li Yongbin and officers from the Domestic Security Division who also ransacked her home.

Ms. Li's husband was persecuted to death for practicing Falun Gong.
