(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wu Yinhao, who is over 60 years old, filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin on January 12, 2017, for initiating the persecution of Falun Gong.

He was consequently sentenced to three years in prison. He appealed to the Middle Court in Baozhong City, but the original verdict was upheld.

Because of the lawsuit, officers from the Xicheng District Police Precinct started to harass Mr. Wu's family. The police went to his home and banged on the door. His wife Ms. Deng Xiuying, who was home alone, was frightened and dared not open the door.

The police kept pounding on the door and eventually broke in. They searched the house, claiming that they suspected a bad person was hiding there. Before they left, they threatened that they would return.

They came back again, on September 27, to harass her.

When Ms. Deng's son, daughters, and daughter-in-law heard about the incidents, they went with their mother to the Xicheng Police Precinct. They told the police that what they did was illegal and that their mother was seriously intimidated. They demanded an apology.

The police knew that they had behaved illegally, so they apologized to Ms. Deng and promised not to harass her again.
