(Minghui.org) I live in a small town in a remote area. Most of the workers could only go back to visit their families once a year. In their spare time, they usually come to my shop to download movies or TV dramas.
One day, three middle-aged workers came to my store. One of them proclaimed, “I want to download some porn videos.”
I was stunned, and then an idea flashed in my mind: “Let them give up these filthy thoughts. I want to tell them the facts about Falun Dafa and save them.” So I asked Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) to strengthen me.
I told them, “Don’t watch these messy movies. They make human morals decline. It is also not good for your health.”
One of them said impatiently, “Your words mean nothing. I’ll pay you extra money. Two days ago, we went to another store and got them all. Nowadays, everybody watches them. No one can stop it. Do you want to earn the money or not?”
I replied, “We cannot control others, but we can control ourselves.” I offered them three chairs and let them sit down.
“Think about it: in old times, men and women were shy and felt awkward about even holding each other’s hands while walking down the street. But now, people put everything on the screen. Modern society has become immoral!”
Then, I recalled some advice from the elders, that Gods watch what human beings are doing, and that “there are divine beings three feet above our heads.”
I continued, “Nowadays, everything is deformed. In the past, we dug a well at our front door and felt safe to drink from it. But now, we need to buy drinking water. Decades ago, we could eat pork, chicken, duck, and fish safely, but now, these foods contain added hormones. Vegetables aren’t safe, either.”
They looked at me and nodded, “Yes, you’re right.”
I cautioned, “We cannot follow the declining moral standards and drift along. When we were children, our elders told us that when we go out, don’t hit people, don’t curse, don’t let others suffer, help people in need, and don’t steal other people's things. But these days, people rob and murder others just for a little personal gain.
“In particular, during the years under Jiang Zemin's administration, both high and low ranking officials became very corrupt. But Falun Gong practitioners live by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and just want to be good people.
“Hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted and put in prisons. Numerous families have been destroyed. The Chinese Communist Party has even harvested living practitioners’ organs for profit.
I then handed them some brochures about the persecution. They smiled and said, “You’re right, you’re right.”
I elaborated, “You joined the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers in school and signed the promises, right? You promised to give away your life for the Party! In the course of history, the Party has committed numerous crimes against humanity.
“It has already started paying for its crimes and will pay more severely in the future. However, who pays these debts? It is the members of the CCP, Youth League, and Young Pioneers because they all vowed that they wanted to give their lives for it.
“Doing the 'three withdrawals' means to quit your membership in these organizations so that when disasters come, we are not affected and stay safe.”
All three of them responded, “Good! Good! Good! Help us to withdraw from it. We don’t want those filthy things.”
I also gave them some brochures and charms and asked them to remember, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
When they were ready to leave, they shouted, “Thank you! Thank you, Falun Dafa!”
