(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 were illegally arrested.

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shao Chengluo and Ms. Gao Wenshu Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Shao Chengluo and Ms. Gao Wenshu were tried in the Chengyang District Court on November 10, 2017.

Mr. Shao was sentence to a nine-year prison term, and Ms. Gao Wenshu a four-year prison term. Both have appealed to the Qingdao City Intermediate Court.

2. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Qiuling and Ms. Fei Wenjie Detained

Ms. Li Qiuling and Ms. Fei Wenjie from Zhukou Township, Taikang County, were arrested by officers from the Zhukou Township Police Station on November 1, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing Falun Gong materials.

Ms. Li was detained for two days. Ms. Fei is being held in the Taikang Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Ailian was taken to the Jinshan Town Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

4. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xing Dan on Hunger Strike

Ms. Xing Dan has been on hunger strike since February 13. 2015. Guards at Liaoning Women's Prison refused to let her family visit her for an extended period of time.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Qiaomeng Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Qiaomeng was taken to the Yusunshan Brainwashing Center, after being held in the Ziyanglu Police Station, the Wuchang District.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Dekun Taken to Benxi Prison

Mr. Sun Dekun was transferred to the Benxi City Prison on November 16, 2017, after having been held in the Shenyang Prison for over a month.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Ma Fengqin Detained

Ms. Ma Fengqin from the Haidian District was arrested on September 28, 2017. She is being held in the Haidian Detention Center.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shuhong Missing for Over Ten Years

Ms. Li Shuhong from the Haidian District has been arrested for her belief on numerous occasions. The last time she was arrested was in 2005. Her family has not heard from her for over ten years.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Caiqin Arrested

Ms. Ji Caiqin from Qianyang Village, Hongdao Economic Development Zone, was arrested on the morning of November 25, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers' market. She was taken to the Hongdao Police Station, and was allowed to return home that afternoon.

10. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Gao Jun Faces Trial for a Third Time

Mr. Gao Jun will be tried for the third time on December 1, 2017.

11. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuzhen, Ms. Liu Zilan, and Ms. An Shuhua from Ongniud Banner were reported to the authorities on the afternoon of November 24, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in a residential community.

The three practitioners were arrested by Liu Caijun and other officers from the Domestic Security Division. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Wang was released that evening. Ms. Liu and Ms. An's whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Kunming City, Yunan Province] Ms. Zhou Yingjian Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Zhou Yingjian, in her sixties, was arrested on September 17, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Kunming City No. 1 Detention Center, and has now been officially placed under arrest.

13. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gong Lihua and Her Husband Mr. Lu Zhengxue Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Gong Lihua and her husband Mr. Lu Zhengxue were arrested at their home by officers from the Meihekou City Domestic Security Division and the Hongmei Town Police Station on November 21, 2017. They were taken to the Hongtai Villa Brainwashing Center.

14. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Jing Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Jing, deputy director of the Economic Committee, Dujiangyan City Political Consultative Congress, was arrested by officers from the Dujiangyan 610 Office on November 7, 2017. She was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

15. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Xiyu Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiyu was arrested again on November 25, 2017.

16. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Taixiang and Ms. Liu Ruixiang Arrested

Ms. Jiang Taixiang and Ms. Liu Ruixiang from Hangezhuang, Jiaolai Town, Jiaozhou City, were arrested by officers from the Jiaolai Police Station on the morning of November 23, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Jiang was taken to the Jimo Detention Center. Ms. Liu's family was asked to take her home due to her poor health.

17. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Ha Jingbo and Ms. Zhu Deyan from Dongfeng County were followed and arrested on the evening of October 28, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. They are being held in the Liaoyuan Detention Center.

Ms. Yu Ping was arrested on November 10, 2017, and was taken to the Liaoyuan Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Shuying was sentenced to a seven-month prison term on November 16, 2017. She has appealed.

19. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Xiyu Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiyu from Guxian Town, Pingdu City, was arrested by officers from the Guxian Town Police Station on November 24, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong in Donggezhuang Village.

20. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Fang Hongyi Detained

Mr. Fang Hongyi was followed and arrested on November 21, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials in the Ganjingzi District. He is being held in the Jinjiajie Detention Center.

21. [Linyi County, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Jin and His Wife Ms. Zhang Li Detained

Mr. Yang Jin from Linpan Town, Shengli Oilfield, was followed for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was arrested at his home around midnight in late October 2017. His wife Ms. Zhang Li was also arrested.

The police ransacked their home and confiscated two notebook computers, one DVD burner, and their Falun Gong books.

The couple were taken to the Dezhou Detention Center. Mr. Yang was held there for 15 days and was fined 1,000 yuan. Ms. Zhang is still being detained there.
