(Minghui.org) An old classmate introduced me to Falun Dafa more than 10 years ago, but I only started practicing at the end of 2015.
I then wanted my son, a second grader, to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Young Pioneers. I wasn't sure he would understand why, but he agreed to do so, and he also wanted to practice Dafa.
Worried that my mother, who lives with us, would object, I didn't tell her that my son and I practice Falun Dafa. We used headphones to listen to the lectures and did the exercises when she was out of the house.
Celestial Eye Opens at a Low Level
My son's celestial eye opened and he saw a toad with green eyes. “It must be a demon!” he said. I told him to ask Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, to help eliminate it. After it was eliminated he kept seeing other animals, so we again asked Master for help.
My son was not scared by what he saw, but I was worried, especially since he kept seeing unpleasant things. However, Master always helped eliminate them and my son kept a peaceful mind.
After talking to other practitioners I began to understand that my son's celestial eye opened at a very low level, and that was why he saw unpleasant things.
He saw Buddhas in his school with his celestial eye, but had bad visions at home. We then discovered that we lived near a large graveyard.
After some time, he began to see good scenes in our home, and I was certain that Master had cleaned up our environment.
Demonic Interference from One’s Own Mind
When my son and I looked at Master's picture in Zhuan Falun he told me that he could communicate with Master.
He also saw many immortals, and each of them gave him some gong. He also said that Master gave both of us a magic wand. He told me the next day that Master gave him a new Fa weapon, and a Fashen (a Law Body made of gong and Fa). This alerted me, and I thought that something wasn't right. How could Master give him a Fashen? I told my son to ask Master why he gave us so many things, including a Fashen.
“Mom, we were tricked,” he said. “These were demons, not Master. They made themselves look like Master in order to trick us. They are laughing at us now!”
We rejected everything they gave us, and they immediately disappeared, except the fake gong he received. We sent righteous thoughts, but the fake gong was still there.
Master said:
“Everything within the field of your dimension is dictated by the thoughts in your brain. That is, if you calmly see things with the Celestial Eye and without using your mind, what you observe is true. If you start to think a little, what you see will be false. This is called demonic interference from one’s own mind, or “transformation follows mind-intent.”” (Zhuan Falun)
After I read more of Master's Fa, I understood the meaning of “transformation follows mind-intent,” and realized that many things that my son saw were not real.
My Mother's Changing Attitude
My mother had joined the CCP's Youth League when she was young. I plucked up enough courage and talked to her about Dafa and the importance of quitting the CCP. She remained calm, but didn't believe me. My son showed her a desk calendar with Dafa messages.
A few days later, she threatened to take my son away if I allowed him to practice Falun Dafa. Without a second thought, I said, “My son will practice as long as he wants to!”
My mother stopped talking to us and wouldn't take him to school, so I rearranged my schedule, so that I could take him.
My mother's attitude began to change a week later. Although she did not support us practicing Dafa, she no longer interfered with us and we could read the Fa aloud at home.
After some time of watching us, my mother quit the CCP and no longer objects to our practicing Dafa.
Although my third eye is not open, my son and I both know that Master is always with us, helping us.
