(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zeng Deyun, 62, from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, was arrested in October 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police seized all her personal belongings. She was later released, though the police continued to harass her during the past year.
The deputy captain of Mudanjiang Domestic Security Division and another officer arrested her again on April 23, 2018, when she was shopping at the neighborhood supermarket. They cuffed her and kept her in a police car for two hours. They then took her to Dongan District Police Office. She was released around 1:00 a.m. the next morning as she contested the arrest.
The officers from Jiangnan District Police Office went to her home at 7:00 a.m. on October 10, 2018. They turned off her electricity from the outside and arrested her when she came out to inspect the situation. They took her to the office of the procuratorate and left her in custody there. The procurator released her around 11:00 a.m.
Several police officers came to her home the next morning and harassed her further. When they ordered her to go to the procuratorate to sign some documents, she refused. The police took turns being stationed outside her home, monitoring her and also disturbing the neighbors.
