(Minghui.org) We recently began making phone calls to my hometown in Sichuan Province, China, to let the people there know about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
I chatted with Fang (alias), another practitioner, online before starting my shift to make calls to China. She had made calls the day before and was not successful. Her longest call lasted only a few seconds. Although it was difficult, she did not give up.
I was assigned phone numbers from the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Region. Fang said that she was from that area and told me that the Yi are an ethnic group who live deep in the mountains. The people there are easygoing and kind.
Her words touched me. I remembered one of the programs in Shen Yun showcased a Yi ethnic dance. I could still see the beautiful scene of young girls in blue skirts dancing against the backdrop of a mountain and white clouds.
I felt my ability to help save sentient beings expand and a mighty force suppress my human notions. I understood why Master cherishes all of us so much.
At that moment, my negative thoughts were dissolved and my heart was filled with righteous thoughts. We were making phone calls to save those sentient beings who had bravely descended to the human world to participate in the Fa-rectification!
The first person who answered my call was a man who worked in the publicity sector. I told him about Falun Dafa and the persecution and to not believe the CCP's propaganda.
He said that many people he knew did not believe the Party's lies and knew that Falun Dafa had been unjustly targeted. But the Party was forcing cadres to distribute materials that slandered the practice.
I helped him quit the Party and its youth organizations. Before I hung up, I heard him say, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
Gaining Confidence
Fang and I decided to work together, as the success of that first call greatly inspired us. While one person talked on the phone, the other would send forth righteous thoughts. When the call was over, we would summarize the conversation and share how to improve. Those who answered our calls began staying on the phone longer and longer.
One of the people we called was a county CCP secretary, who handed the phone to his wife since he was driving. I told her about how the Yi dance had been seen by so many people all over the world in the Shen Yun Performing Arts show and how deeply it had touched me. “Sichuan used to be known as the 'Land of Abundance' but now suffers from regular earthquakes and other misfortunes as a result of heaven's wrath. Falun Dafa is the Buddha Law and is being wrongfully persecuted in China, so please treat Dafa practitioners well,” I added.
She replied, “Yes! Heaven is watching everything we do.”
Many of the people we called were kind, but some were afraid. Only a few refused to listen to us.
Fang and I realized that listeners were more receptive to positive words, so we first let them know that we were truly concerned about their wellbeing. Then we talk about the societal problems in China and the reprehensible behavior of the CCP. We never hurried and just let the conversation unfold naturally.
In the process of making calls to Sichuan, we could feel Master's encouragement. Our wisdom expanded and we became more confident, so our energy field became stronger.
We were able to help people quit the CCP every day. Among them were members of the People’s Congress, township administrators, Party publicists and secretaries, cadres working for the department of civil affairs, and even a chair of the Political Consultative Conference. We still make phone calls every day.
Master said, “I know most people came from heavens,” (“This Music Is True,” Hong Yin IV) This reminds us that we should not be biased when saving sentient beings. We should remember that people from every region descended to this world from high levels. That is how we will be able to keep moving forward in helping to save them with righteous thoughts.
