(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 4 were illegally arrested.

1. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yuqing and Wife Ms. Liu Qiuxiang Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Wang Yuqing was sentenced to three years in prison, and his wife Ms. Liu Qiuxiang to two years in prison, by the Fuyu County Court in early September 2018. Mr. Wang was taken to the Fengtun Prison on September 4. Ms. Liu is still being held in the Qiqihar City Detention Center, and will be taken to the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison.
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Yufang Detained
Ms. Li Yufang was arrested by officers from the Dayoufang Police Station when she was distributing Falun Gong materials on September 11, 2018. She was held in the Harbin City Detention Center.

3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Hongzhu Officially Arrested
Mr. Wang Hongzhu was arrested by officers from the Haicheng City Domestic Security Division and the Nantai Police Station on August 23, 2018. His home was ransacked.
4. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Three practitioners' original verdicts were upheld by the Beijing City No. 1 Intermediate Court, on the morning of September 17, 2018. This was announced by Yang Liang, a judge from the No. 1 Criminal Tribunal.
Mr. Jiang Liyu and Ms. Shan Shan were each given a four-year prison term, and Mr. Tian Feng a three-and-a-half-year prison term. They were each fined 5,000 yuan.
The three practitioners were arrested by officers from the Guangninglu Police Station, Shijingshan District on May 12, 2017.
5. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xuan Enfeng Detained
Ms. Xuan Enfeng from Xinzhuang Town was arrested by officers from the Neilu Police Station on the afternoon of September 10, 2018. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Xuan was held in the Goushang Detention Center for five days.
Officers from the police station broke into Ms. Zhao Shimei's home in Jiajiazhuangzi Village, Xinzhuang Town on the afternoon of September 12, 2018. The officers confiscated all her Falun Dafa books. Ms. Zhao is in her 80s.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Jirong Detained
Ms. Yang Jirong was arrested when she was talking to others about Falun Gong on May 6, 2018. She has been held in the Jining Detention Center.
7. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Song Xianlan Taken to Prison
Ms. Song Xianlan from Lianhu District was recently sentenced to four years in prison after the second trial. She was found to suffer from a brain hemorrhage during the physical exam prior to being taken to the women's prison. She was taken to the First Affiliated Hospital of Tumen Medical College for treatment. After her condition improved, she was taken to the Shaanxi Women's Prison.
8. [Hu County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Chunxia Taken to Prison
Ms. Liu Chunxia was sentenced to four years in prison by the Xincheng District Court on January 4, 2 018. She appealed. After the second trial, her original verdict was upheld. She was taken to a women's prison on September 6.
9. [Jingshan County, Hubei Province] Ms. Shang Qifeng Arrested
Ms. Shang Qifeng was reported and arrested when she was talking to people about Falun Gong in August 2018.
10. [Chongqing] Ms. Yin Dayu Arrested
Ms. Yin Dayu from Dadukou District was arrested by officers from the Dadukou District Domestic Security Division on September 17, 2018. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, and a cell phone. She was released.
11. [Huaying City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Shiqiong Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Peng Shiqiong was arrested by the Huaying City police on May 9, 2017. She has been held in the Zaoshan Detention Center, Guang'an City. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Huaying City Court on November 15, 2017. Ms. Peng appealed. She was tried the second time at the Keji Court, Guang'an Intermediate Court on August 27, 2018. Her original verdict was upheld.
