Additional Persecution News from China – October 14, 2018 (Part I, 16 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 were illegally arrested.

1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. An Yongzhen Missing

Mr. An Yongzhen, 65, was taken away by Mudanjiang 610 Office agents on October 11, 2018, the day his six-year prison term ended. His whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Su Xiaojing Taken into Custody

Ms. Su Xiaojing from Likezhai Village was arrested by 610 Office agents and Domestic Security Division officers from the anti-riot team on September 4, 2018. She was taken to a house near the Shaolin Automobile Factory, where she was tortured.

Ms. Su has not yet returned home.

3. [Suibin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. You Jinying Detained

Ms. You Jinying was arrested in June 2018. She was taken to the Hegang City Detention Center.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Bai Yaping Arrested

Ms. Bai Yaping, from the Pingfang District, was arrested at home by officers from the Baoguo Police Station on October 10, 2018. Her home was ransacked.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Wu Jialu Detained

Ms. Wu Jialu from the Shunyi District was arrested by officers from the Yangzhen Police Station on October 5, 2018. She was taken to the Nihe Detention Center.

6. [Sunwu County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Leying Arrested

Ms. Wang Leying was arrested and taken to the Dong Police Station on the afternoon of October 11, 2018.

7. [Helong City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Yushu Remains in Detention

Mr. Yang Yushu is still being held in the Helong City Detention Center.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Xu Detained

Ms. Zhao Xu was arrested at home by officers from the Mingzhu Police Station in the Nanguan District on the morning of October 12, 2018. She is being held in the Weizi Detention Center.

9. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Su Cuizhi Arrested

Ms. Su Cuizhi was recently arrested.

10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fei Yi Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Fei Yi was arrested in 2017. She was later released on bail, but was tried in July 2018 and sentenced to three years in prison.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Hongna, her husband Mr. Hu Dawei, Ms. Wang, Ms. Ma, Ms. Liu, Ms. Sun, Ms. Yu, and Ms. Yanzi were arrested on October 12, 2018

12. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shan Sufen Facing Trial

Ms. Shan Sufen was to be tried by the Haizhou District Court on the afternoon of October 16, 2018.

13. [Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. He Keqing Arrested

Mr. He Keqing was arrested at home on October 10, 2018. His home was ransacked.

14. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Guangmei Displaced

Ms. Liu Guangmei's home was ransacked by officers from the Kenli District Domestic Security Division and Kenli Town Police Station on the afternoon of October 11, 2018. Her husband was arrested, but was later released.

Ms. Liu is now displaced.

15. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Qu Lijuan Dies After Police Take Her for a Physical Exam

Ms. Qu Lijuan was arrested and forcibly taken to hospital for a physical exam. A few days after she returned home, she fell into a coma. Her family took her to hospital, but she passed away on the morning of October 2, 2018.

16. [Jianli County, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Dayao Taken to Prison

Mr. Li Dayao was arrested on September 20, 2017. He was taken to the Zengmiao Detention Center, Hongcheng Township, and was transferred to the Fanjiatai Prison, Shayang County in August 2018.
