(Minghui.org) Su Weichuang and three other officers from the Taocheng District Police Department and the Damasen Township Police Station broke into Ms. Yang Qixing's home on the morning of November 1, 2018. Without explaining why they were there, the officers forced the 73-year-old into a police vehicle. Ms. Yang is being held in the Hengshui City Detention Center.

Ms. Yang is a Falun Gong practitioner who lives in Houliuma Village, Damasen Township, Taocheng District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. She was arrested on May 9, 2017 and taken to the Masen Police Station by Hu Shugang, a village official responsible for local security, because she put up stickers with the words “Falun Dafa is Good!” in the neighboring Hujia Village. She was initially placed under administrative detention for three days at the police station, then transferred to the Hengshui City Detention Center.

Ms. Yang was tried by the Taocheng District Court in Hengshui City on November 27, 2017. When her defense lawyer asked that Hu Shugang, who took her to the police station, appear in court, Zhang Ying, the presiding judge, immediately announced an adjournment.

While she was detained, Yang was abused and became physically weak. Her right femur was fractured during a fall. She was not able to take care of herself thereafter, and was later released on bail with the approval of the Taocheng District Court.

Ms. Yang was again arrested on November 1, 2018. The police officers who arrested her were unwilling to do this, but they said they had no choice, because of the orders from their superiors, notably judge Zhang Ying and other court officials.
