(Minghui.org) It was recently confirmed by Minghui.org that 74-year-old Mr. Xu Xuezhi, a resident of Antu County, Jilin Province, was arrested on July 4, 2018 in Dunhua City while mailing letters containing information about Falun Gong, the spiritual discipline persecuted by the communist regime since 1999.
It remains unclear how the police discovered the letters.
Mr. Xu is now facing indictment after the police submitted his case to the procuratorate. To this day, his family still hasn't been informed of where he is being detained.
Mr. Xu began practicing Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, in 1997. He credits the practice for improving his health and character.
After the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, Mr. Xu was arrested and harassed several times for not giving up his faith. Prior to his latest arrest, he was detained at a brainwashing center once and served one year at Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City in 2004.
