(Minghui.org) I was reported for talking to people about Falun Dafa at the market in the Summer of 2005. Four men then approached me and pushed me into a police vehicle. I was later illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor.
Master said,
“Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
When the guards tortured me, I told them that I believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and I tried to maintain strong righteous thoughts.
I was released in June 2006. At home, I studied the Fa and sent righteous thoughts for a long time to make up for the time I had lost in the forced labor camp. My righteous thoughts became stronger.
I thought about fellow practitioners who were still being detained and persecuted, and went to the forced labor camp. Standing outside of the facility, I waved a piece of cloth in my hand and sent a thought, “Please hold on, and we will rescue you.” The practitioners miraculously saw me and waved back.
I also thought about the guards involved in persecuting practitioners, for their own benefit. They were very pitiable. I then realized that I should clarify the truth to them since they lived near me.
I managed to locate where one of the guards lived and asked the doorman for her building number. Someone came in and led me to the building that I was looking for.
The female guard was shocked when she opened the door and saw me. I told her, “I bring you a new year's gift—a Chinese knot.” She thanked me and invited me to sit.
I pointed to the knot and told her that it represented predestination, auspiciousness, happiness, and peace, and that it was fate that we had met in the labor camp.
“I think you guards don't understand a practitioners' belief,” I said. “We do not hate you, even though you treated us horribly. Our Master asks us to be selfless and considerate in everything we do. We do not strike back when beaten or swear back when sworn at.
“You don’t understand the truth because Jiang Zemin ordered the government to defame and imprison good people. But I want to let you know that it is not good to persecute Dafa practitioners. Sooner or later, people will realize that the persecution is illegal and it will end. Have you thought about what consequences it will bring your family if you continue to participate?”
Before we parted, I asked her for a different guard's home address. She said she would take me to that guard's home.
The female guard was not home, but her husband and 70-year-old mother, who believed the Communist Party's lies, were. Both asked me a lot of questions. I calmly answered all of their questions and asked them not to participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa.
I also said, “Whoever persecutes kind people will not have good outcomes. Dafa practitioners are all good people. How could you bear to break up so many families and even force them to curse their Master? Dafa allows people to return to the righteous way and do good deeds.”
I then read them Master’s lecture, “My Thanks to Sentient Beings Who Have Sent Greetings” (The Essentials of Diligent Progress, Vol. III). They then looked at each other and said, “Yes, we know what to do now.”
After the new year, the forced labor camp was decommissioned, and many practitioners were released.
