(Minghui.org) Before cultivating in Falun Dafa, I was very self-centered and proud. I didn't like others pointing out my mistakes and would start a fight with anyone who did. Thus, most of my relatives kept a distance from me, and some even viewed me as an enemy.

In 1998 I became a Dafa practitioner. Master's Fa teachings resonated with me. Master taught that “Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People” (Zhuan Falun) and I finally understood how to be a good person. Less than a few months later, my family members witnessed great changes in my health and mind.

My Elderly Sister Blessed by Dafa

One year, my elderly sister planted watermelons on some land a few miles away from home. The seedlings were infected with white-powder disease, which spread quickly and could kill all the plants. My sister was worried and came to me in tears to complain.

“Did you forget?” I said. “Master said in Zhuan Falun, 'We have said that good or evil comes from a person’s spontaneous thought, and the thought at that moment can bring about different consequences.' He also said, 'Plants have feelings!' While we are talking here, they may know it. So you should stop crying. When you get home, sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' I'll do that for you, too. Keep doing that and a miracle might happen.”

The next day, my sister came to see me after dinner. She said that the disease had already begun to recede from her watermelon seedlings. She was very happy and thanked Teacher and Dafa.

Younger Sister Protected by Dafa

My younger sister had congenital heart disease. No one in the family knew that until one day when she fainted. At the hospital the doctor told her and her husband that she should not get pregnant, because the growing fetus would put pressure on the heart and endanger both the mother’s and baby's life.

The news was a like a thunderbolt. Seven years later, my sister made an astonishing decision: She wanted to have a child, even if she lost her life.

One day in September 2003, when she was about three months pregnant, she called to ask me for a keepsake that read, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Her pregnancy was normal. Nothing unusual, like the doctor had predicted years before, happened.

In April 2004, she went into the hospital for a cesarean section. Before she was taken into the operating room, her husband stopped her and asked her to remove the Dafa keepsake from around her neck. He was afraid that it might cause trouble if the doctors and nurses saw it. My younger sister refused to let it go and held it tightly in front of her chest. The nurse saw it and said it was ok for her to wear it.

The next morning after my sister was taken back to the ward, her husband held her hands and asked, “Did you miss me during the surgery?”

She replied, “That was a moment of great fear for me. Still, my mind was full of ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ so what was the use of thinking of you?” Looking at their baby son next to them, they both smiled.
