(Minghui.org) I was persecuted for my belief and sentenced to prison for a year and a half in 2014. I quickly joined fellow practitioners to continue to let people know the truth about Falun Dafa after I was released. I had trouble walking because I had been tortured so severely, but many fellow practitioners helped me so that I could participate.

The coordinator in our group suggested that I write letters detailing the facts of the persecution. That way I could participate fully even in my condition at the time. I agreed to give it a try.

I felt like a door opened for me when Bei brought me a sample letter. It read, “I sincerely hope you learn the facts about why Falun Dafa is being persecuted, because...” I was moved by the author's compassion. I firmly believe that many people will awaken after reading the letter.

I told Bei I would love to work with her. She was moved and told me that she had been doing this for over ten years. Not many practitioners were still doing it, and she wondered if she should continue. We discussed it and made up our minds that we would work on it and make it better.

Shortly after that, many others joined us, and those who'd left the project returned. Bei was so encouraged that she began to write more letters.

Writing a letter by hand took a long time and a great deal of effort. I could only finish a few letters a day. My joints were stiff and hurt, but I continued. To make it easier for me, the coordinator suggested that I print. It looked nice and neat, and we were all delighted. It added more energy to what we were doing.

After the letters were ready, the next question was, “Who will distribute them?”

I heard someone knock at my door. It was Chen, who is 86, and her daughter. They are both practitioners. Chen looked at me but could not speak. Her daughter told me that her mother had not been able to talk for a few days and refused to go to a hospital. She just wanted to come see me.

I looked at Chen. She looked tired. I asked her daughter to return later that afternoon since she had to go to work. Chen pointed her finger at her mouth but could not talk and then pointed at herself and showed me that she felt miserable.

I realized we had to negate the persecution. We began studying Zhuan Falun together. Initially, her voice was very weak and shaky, I told her not to be afraid and to continue reading. Gradually, her voice got stronger and louder. She was so happy she put her hands together and thanked Master for saving her.

I later asked her why she wanted to come to see me. She said she didn't know why. She just felt she would be all right if she came. Later she felt better and wanted to go home by herself. I was a bit concerned. After all, she'd just felt better, and it was a long ride with a change of buses. She told me not to worry and took off, promising to come back the next day.

She came back the next morning by bus. We again studied Zhuan Falun. She looked healthier than the day before. She saw the letters and asked if she could help distribute them. I did not respond right away. She knew I was concerned. She told me not to worry, that she has Master. I remembered what Master said:

“for once the righteous thoughts are strong, you will truly have the god-like might to split a mountain in half—split it with but one thought.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference XI)

I was moved to tears: Compassionate Master paved the road for us ahead of time.

I worked with Chen through four seasons, and we sent out close to 4,000 letters. She was a walking example of the wonders of Dafa. She carried a huge bag of letters in the heat of summer, easily climbing many flights of stairs in apartment buildings. Most of the time her clothes were soaked with sweat.

When it was snowy and icy, it was dangerous even for youngsters. Yet she always came at the scheduled time. I was so delighted to see her! She told me that she'd asked Master to strengthen her before she left home. “I am doing great with Master's protection! I feel warm and full of energy. Even though it is slippery out, I'm fine!”

Thank you, Master!

Thank you, fellow practitioners, who worked and supported me!
