(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners are walking on a divine path, so the way they seek legal assistance to protest the persecution is quite different from that of ordinary people seeking legal aid for the same purpose.
Falun Dafa practitioners are being persecuted in this world, but this is merely what is going on at the surface. We know that, fundamentally, it is the old forces pulling strings from other dimensions. They use dark minions, rotten demons, and the evil communist specter to direct the 610 Office, the police, the prosecutors, and the judges to persecute practitioners.
As such, sending forth righteous thoughts is the most direct way to stop the persecution of practitioners by eliminating the evil factors at their root. It's also a way to help everyday people escape the clutches of the old forces so that they can understand the facts about Dafa, respect Dafa, and be saved. Only practitioners are able to do such a divine thing.
The way that Dafa practitioners use the legal system to protest the persecution should be quite different from how everyday people use the legal system to protect themselves. When everyday people use the legal system to protest persecution and protect their rights, they focus on themselves.
There are, of course, many people with ideals who turn to the legal system to correct errors in the system to better the future of their nation. Such people are trying to perfect laws and national institutions, but they are actually using the law to protect their own or other people's legal rights in order to realize their own goal to perfect the legal system.
Practitioners, however, are not appealing to the law to save themselves. Instead, we are using the laws to save the people who interpret and execute them – law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges.
An ancient Chinese saying counsels that “laws cannot enforce themselves.” If law enforcement officials are not honest, any law can be abused. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has undermined the consciences of law enforcement officers during its decades of control. Because these officers are trained to take it for granted that the laws mean only what the CCP wants them to mean, they have been able to disregard the intent of existing laws and carry out the 610 Office's demands to “eliminate” Falun Gong.
It is because the law enforcement officers have been so compromised that the CCP has been able to carry out the persecution of Falun Gong. In these circumstances, it won't work for Dafa practitioners to try to save themselves by appealing to the existing laws, since there are so few law enforcement officers who are willing to carry out justice and protect practitioners' legal rights.
When we protest the persecution, we are saving everyday people who work within and around the legal system. How should we best save them now?
We can explain the situation to them from the legal perspective and remind them that “spiritual belief is legal, while persecution is a crime.” We should also emphasize the benefits of Falun Gong.
More importantly, we can send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the demonic elements that undermine human society and push everyday people to persecute Dafa. Once these elements are eliminated, they can no longer control people, and those people could now be saved.
As more and more practitioners are turning to the legal system to protest and seek to end the persecution, we should be clearer about the above principles: The way that Dafa practitioners seek laws to protest the persecution is quite different from that of ordinary people. We should not confuse ourselves with everyday people, because we are walking on a divine path.
