Eliminate Human Notions to Become Divine

(Minghui.org) I have read Master's quote below numerous times when studying the Fa, but didn't understand its meaning until recently. Perhaps the meaning was shown to me only after I reached a higher level.

Master said,

“In truth, the spiritual journey is none other than an ongoing process of learning to let go of the things of this world that we may be attached to.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)

I gained a deeper understanding after studying the Fa, and enlightened to several small matters. Master also said,

“What is a human?     Full is he of emotion and desire.What is a God?     Human thoughts are nowhere found.”(“The Difference Between Mortal and Divine,” from Hong Yin, Translation Version A)

“...the Way offers different spiritual truths in different realms” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)

I gained a greater understanding of the differences between practitioners and ordinary people, and came to the realization that practitioners should never be compared with ordinary people. Cultivation practice is not part of the lives of ordinary people.

Many fellow practitioners like me have cultivated for two decades, from youth to middle-age, and many factors have restricted our advancement. I came to understand this from a dream a few days ago.

In the dream, I was among a group of old and deceased people. One very old woman bumped into me and told me that there were problems with my xxx – this is a way of telling about a sickness.

It reminded me that I still have the “old age” factor in my environment and many other human notions.

My understanding is that the universe has different arrangements for lives at different levels. Birth, old age, sickness, and death are the arrangements for human beings. If a person doesn't cultivate, he/she has no way to break away from this rule.

If a Dafa practitioner can't discipline him or herself, or follows a standard not conforming with Dafa, or an ordinary people's standard, this practitioner will definitely be bound by the rules set for human beings.

To transcend the rules of human beings, we must study the Fa, meet the standard of Dafa in our words and actions, eliminate human notions, and become divine beings.

I personally believe that we will be made aware of the following human notions.

Refuse to Let the “Old Age” Factor Occupy a Place in Our Mind

Ordinary people will age naturally. But we are different. We are cultivators who have a much higher moral level and xinxing than ordinary people.

We should not “envy” ordinary people's “happy life,” such as “old people should not eat this and should not do that.” Genuine practitioners should totally ignore the countless understandings that are part of old age.

Don't Mingle With Ordinary People Except When Clarifying the Truth

While chatting with ordinary people, the topics are often about family life and personal pursuits.

We don't need to agree with ordinary people's thoughts. We only follow the Dafa principles. We are here to save them, not to agree with them, or become one of them.

Be Cautious of the Media

Except for several medias established by practitioners, ordinary people's television, smart phones, and the Internet have created many difficulties for practitioners in saving people. Most of the elderly watch TV daily and believe the lies and propaganda broadcast by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many of these people are brainwashed, and only believe this propaganda.

There are endless temptations in the human world, but we practitioners should not get involved in any of them. We are cultivators with clear minds. Don't forget why we are here and our mission.
