(Minghui.org) *Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces, where at least 87 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang] Several Practitioners Detained

The following practitioners are detained at Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison.

2. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhao Jianhua Arrested

Mr. Zhao Jianhua was arrested by plainclothes officers on January 26, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] One Practitioner Imprisoned; Eight Practitioners Detained

Ms. Wang Xiaoli is currently detained at the No.3 Ward of Liaoning Women's Prison.

Eight practitioners are still held at Liaoyang City Detention Center. They are Mr. Gu Linjie, Ms. Luo Li, Ms. Liu Sujuan, Ms. Yu Shuhua, Mr. Li Weitao, Mr. Wang Yongsheng, Mr. Tang Xianhe, and Mr. Guo Shiyou.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cui Yongqiang's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Cui Yongqiang's whereabouts have been unknown since December 21, 2018.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Imprisoned

Five practitioners are still detained at the 11th Ward of Shandong Women’s Prison. They are Ms. Zhao Yueyun (from Guan County), Ms. Sun Xiuying (from Guan County), Ms. Li Xue (from Jiaozhou City), Ms. Song Guixiang (from Jiaozhou City), and Ms. Zhang Chenglan (from Jinan City).

6. [Xinzheng City, Henan Province] Mr. Yang Jinhan Arrested

Mr. Yang Jinhan was arrested at home and had his home ransacked by officers including Liang Lijun (梁力俊) from Longhu Town Police Station on January 11, 2019. Mr. Yang was interrogated at the police station and then taken to Xinzheng City Chinese Medicine Hospital for a physical examination. He was held at the Xinzhen Detention Center for 15 days.

While being held, Mr. Yang was beaten by officer Li Hui (李辉) and held at a strict house. On January 27, he was released.

7. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Mr. Shi Zaihe Sentenced

Mr. Shi Zaihe was sentenced to a five-year prison term by the Huangchuan County Court on December 13, 2018.

8. [Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Wang Jinhua, Ms. Cai E, Ms. Ke Xiulian, and Ms. Ke Xiuyue, three of whom are in their 70s, were arrested by officers from the Dingshan Police Station on January 27, 2019. The police ransacked their homes. They are currently detained at the Dingshan Police Station.

9. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Xiaoli's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Huang Xiaoli's whereabouts have been unknown since December 23, 2018.The 37 year old is engaged in foreign trade at the Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone in Huizhou City.

10. [Chongqing] Thirty One Practitioners Imprisoned

The following practitioners are detained.

Eighteen Practitioners at Chongqing Women's Prison: Ms. Tang Tianzhen (at the first Ward), Ms. Huang Zhenglan (at the first Ward), Ms. Gao Yunxia, Ms. Zhou Hong, Ms. Zhao Shifang, Ms. Zhao Jiayu, Ms. Yang Changqin, Ms. Wang Aihua, Ms. Quan Qimin, Ms. Tan Changrong, Ms. Zhang Zhengying, Ms. He Yongbi, Ms. Tang Chengbi, Ms. Wang Jihong, Ms. Zhang Kaiqiong, Ms. Zhong Tingju, Ms. Yang Li, and Ms. Zhang Chenying.

Seven practitioners at Yongchuan Prison: Mr. Zhou Changsheng, Mr. Yu Guanghe (sentenced to a nine-year prison term in September 2017), Mr. Zhang Jun (sentenced to a five-year prison term on August 22, 2017), Mr. Qu Chi, Mr. Peng Shigui, Mr. Dai Dakui, Mr. Huang Jimeng (arrested in early 2017 and sentenced to three years in prison).

Six at Yudu Prison: Mr. Yuan Zhiqiang, Mr. Deng Liping, Mr. Chen Yiren, Mr. Tang Minghua, Mr. Wang Dewen, and Mr. Chen Banglin.
