(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in China and abroad on this Chinese New Year sent waves of greetings to the founder of the practice, Master Li Hongzhi. In the greetings, they told Master Li that they will diligently cultivate in the new year, and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They expressed their appreciation to Master Li for his teachings and guidance.
Meanwhile, many people in China and overseas, who don't practice Falun Gong, but know the truth of it, also wished Master Li a Happy New Year. They strongly support Falun Gong's peaceful resistance against the persecution.
Practitioners in China: Telling the public what Falun Gong really is
Facing the severe persecution, practitioners in China have set up material-production sites, have passed out flyers, posted Falun Gong banners, and talked to the public for the same purpose: to help more people know that Falun Gong is good, and that the Communist Party is corrupt.
A practitioner from Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, said in his greeting, “We are all cultivators, and we will not be moved by others' misunderstandings. In this harsh environment, we will improve ourselves through cultivation, and tell more people the truth of Falun Gong. This is how we show our respect to Master Li.”
A practitioner from Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, said, “In the face of difficulties, when I think of Master and Dafa, I always feel that I am most fortunate. Master has given me the best, things that a non-cultivator can never get.”
A practitioner from Suihua, Heilongjiang Province, said, “In 2018, all the practitioners at our exercise site overcame numerous difficulties and went out to clarify the truth every day. Although a lot of people, who had been deceived by the Communist Party, cursed and threatened us, we were not afraid or discouraged. In the new year, we will be more diligent in cultivation, cherish the time, and awaken more people.”
Many imprisoned practitioners conveyed to Master Li that although they have been tortured physically and mentally, their solid belief cannot be changed. History will prove that Falun Gong was right, and the persecutors will be brought to justice.
Practitioners Overseas: “We will keep clarifying the truth to the public.”
From North America to South America, from Russia to South Asia, from Europe to Australia and New Zealand, practitioners have been clarifying the truth to the public in every corner of the world.
They pass out flyers at tourist spots, make phone calls to law enforcement in China, talk to politicians, hold rallies, and show documentaries to expose the persecution, and call for help to stop it.
Non-practitioner: “I've always had great respect for Master Li.”
Attorney Ye Ning has admired Falun Gong for several years and said, “I've always had great respect for Master Li.”
In his greeting, he said, “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is brutally persecuting Falun Gong. They even carry out genocide by harvesting organs from living practitioners. In the face of such persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have remained steadfast in their belief. So, in this battle between righteousness and evil, the Party has already lost.”
“The history of the CCP is bloody and it has persecuted many spiritual groups. No group could successfully stand up to the Party. Only Falun Gong has been able to.”
“Falun Gong practitioners are the most morally upright people in China. They are China's backbone. By following Master Li's guiding principles they are able to quietly stand up to the CCP, without resorting to violence. This has never happened before. The Party's persecution of practitioners will lead to its downfall and ultimate demise.”
“As the New Year approaches, I sincerely wish Master Li a good year and success in battling for humanity's freedom.”
Many people in China who don't practice Falun Gong also expressed support in their New Year greetings to Master Li.
A Beijing resident said, “I was lucky that a practitioner told me what Falun Gong really is. As a Chinese person with a conscience, I support everything you and your disciples do. I quit the communist party, and I wish you success.”
A person from Shenzhen city said, “I have read the main book of Falun Gong, Zhuan Falun. I am completely convinced by the teachings. The book is so great. I hope more Chinese will read it. It will restore morality in China and make China great again. When I have a chance, I will start practicing too.”
A retired government official in Jingzhou County, Hunan Province said, “When the persecution first started in 1999, nobody dared to speak for Falun Gong. I thought Falun Gong would be crushed by the party in three months. To my surprise, so many years have passed, and I still receive Falun Gong materials in my mailbox. I have been telling people around me what I learned from Falun Gong practitioners. I also try to convince my friends and family members to quit the communist party.”
A citizen from Jinan City, Shandong Province, said, “Every day I manage to break through the Internet blockade and read Falun Gong messages. I am also glad to see that Falun Gong practitioners have spread their message to every corner in my town in spite of the severe suppression. I see their greatness.”
