(Minghui.org) One day back in 2016, I was reading Zhuan Falun with six elderly Falun Gong practitioners. A dozen police officers arrived in a large van and arrested us. Passersby were really confused because we definitely didn't look like criminals. We clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the police, and they tried to comfort us, saying, “We have no choice but to carry out the order.” It was clear that they did not really want to arrest us.

Over a decade ago, the persecution was really severe. A police officer in our neighborhood came to my home one day while I was reading Zhuan Falun. I didn't have a chance to put the book away and left it on the bed. She sat down on the bed, picked up a piece of cloth, and covered my book with it.

One night back in 2016, I was arrested by four police officers who came to ransack my home. They were throwing my truth-clarification materials out of the drawers when one of the officers said, “Okay, that's enough. Don't make trouble for yourselves.” He turned a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party face down on my desk so that the other officers wouldn't see it. In the end, they didn't ransack my home and only took away a few copies of Minghui Weekly. The officer in charge said, “We won't come back anymore,” and everyone left.

The residential committee and local police all knew I practiced Falun Gong. One day the residential committee head led three subordinates to my home. I didn't let them in and told them we could talk outside. One of them tried to videotape me. I exclaimed, “Videotaping again!” The head said, “Let's go. Move.” They didn't come into my home and promptly left.

I once passed by a police station on my way back from the farmers’ market. A group of officers were standing by the entrance. One of them greeted me, walked toward me, and proceeded to follow me home. He said, “I am not going in. You can contact me if you have any trouble.” I think he was just putting on a show in front of his fellow officers.
