1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Kuoyuan (in his 50s), Ms. Deng Zhongyu (in her 40s), Mr. Li Zhengzheng (around 40 years old), and Ms. Hu Duohui (around 80) from Hongqiao Town, Pingjiang County, were arrested by officers from the Pingjiang 610 Office on the morning of July 31, 2019. Their whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Rui Still Being Detained

Ms. Li Rui, 47, was arrested by officers from the Daoli Domestic Security Division on November 9, 2018. She is still being held in the Daoli Detention Center.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yaofeng’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Liu Yaofeng has been placed under arrest. Her case was recently turned over to the Shenyang City Procuratorate.

Ms. Liu had injuries all over her body as a result of abuse, and a detention center refused to admit her. Officers from the Fengyutan Police Station then took her to the Shenyang Detention Center.

4. [Langzhong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Mulan and Her Husband Mr. Hou Xiaoping Arrested

Ms. Zhao Mulan was arrested at home on July 5, 2019. Her husband Mr. Hou Xiaoping was also arrested at home on July 8. The police ransacked their residence and confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, and 4,000 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

5. [Dazhu County, Sichuan Province] Twenty-Five Practitioners Arrested

A total of 25 practitioners were arrested by officers from the Dazhu County Domestic Security Division and the Xiqu Police Station in Zhuyang Town on the afternoon of July 27, 2019, when they were studying the Falun Gong teachings together. They included Mr. Wang Haiqian, his wife Ms. Zhang Qinghong, Mr. Deng Mingzhi, Ms. He Dacui, and Ms. Xiong Mengyu.

Four of them have been released.

6. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xu Muqun Taken to Prison

Mr. Xu Muqun from the Chenghai District was sentenced to a four-year prison term and secretly taken to Sihui Prison in Zhaoqing City on July 25, 2019.

7. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Lijuan Detained

Ms. Wang Lijuan from Longhui County was arrested at her rented home on the morning of July 29, 2019. The place was ransacked.

Ms. Wang is being held in Longhui.

8. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Lang Gaiqin Detained

Ms. Lang Gaiqin was arrested at home by officers from the Nanqiao Police Station on July 9, 2019. She is being held in the Xinxiang City Detention Center.

9. [Fuyuan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yu Lijun Arrested

Mr. Yu Lijun was arrested by Chai Jinlin and other officers from the Political Security Section of the Fuyuan City Police Department on July 31, 2019. He was taken to the No. 2 Police Station.

10. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Liu Cuimei Detained

Ms. Liu Cuimei from the Huinong District was arrested by the Xixia District police on July 18, 2019. She is being held in the Yinchuan City Detention Center.

11. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Lixian Detained

Ms. Wu Lixian, in her 40s, from the Wanghua District, was arrested at home on the morning of July 26, 2019. She is being held in the Nangou Detention Center.

12. [Tianjin] Ms. Yao Shilan on Hunger Strike; Ms. He Daiping Tried

Ms. Yao Shilan and Ms. He Daiping from Dajianchang Township in the Wuqing District were arrested at home on the morning of April 23, 2019.

Ms. Yao has been on a hunger strike and was taken to the Wuqing Chinese Medicine Hospital for emergency treatment. When her family recently went to the detention center to deposit money for her, they were told that she was no longer there.

Ms. He was secretly tried by the Wuqing District Court on July 23. She was confined to a wheelchair.

13. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Ying Arrested

Ms. Zhang Ying received a phone call from the Zhanqian Police Station in the Tiexi District on the morning of July 31, 2019. She was told to go to the police station to process public rental paperwork. She was arrested as soon as she got there.

14. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Ni Laijian Placed Under Criminal Detention

Mr. Ni Laijian from Zhihe Town was arrested on July 20, 2019, and taken to the Pengzhou City Detention Center. He has been placed under criminal detention.

15. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zheng Jianhua Detained

Mr. Zheng Jianhua was reported to the police on the afternoon of June 16, 2019, for talking to students about Falun Gong. He was arrested by officers from the Bingcaogang Police Station but released that evening.

Mr. Zheng was arrested again at home on the afternoon of June 20. He was held in a detention center for seven days.

16. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tian Lili Sentenced

Ms. Tian Lili was sentenced to 18 months in prison and fined 10,000 yuan by the Shenhe District Court on July 30, 2019. She appealed and demanded a public trial for her appeal hearing.

17. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Du Guiying Sentenced

Ms. Du Guiying, 67, was sentenced to four years in prison in July 2019 by the Acheng City Court.

Her husband, Mr. Wang Dejin, who became mentally disoriented from a previous four-year prison term for practicing Falun Gong, is now struggling to find a caregiver.
