1. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Renxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Renxiang, over 70 years old, was arrested on July 26, 2019. Police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yaqin and Mr. Liu Fu Detained

Ms. Wang Yaqin and Mr. Liu Fu, from Daxingzhuang Town in the Pinggu District, were arrested at the Machangying Great Open Market on July 9, 2019. Their homes were ransacked and their Falun Gong books confiscated. They were held in the Mafang Police Station in Pinggu before being transferred to the Chaoyang District Detention Center the next day.

Ms. Wang was released after she failed the physical exam. Mr. Liu was detained for 12 days.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Guo Yulan and Mr. Ge Zengguo Detained

Ms. Guo Yulan from the Shijingshan District was arrested on May 27, 2019, when she was visiting her hometown in the Miyun District. Police confiscated her computer, printer, and Falun Gong books from her home. She is being held in the Miyun Detention Center.

Mr. Ge Zengguo from Xihuanli in the Changping District was arrested on June 22, after someone reported him for distributing Falun Gong materials. His home was ransacked. He was formally arrested on July 4.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cao Yanfen and Her Family Arrested

Ms. Cao Yanfen, her husband Mr. Cai Guozhong, and their son were arrested at home by plainclothes officers on the morning of July 19, 2019. The police confiscated a computer, three printers, a cell phone, Falun Gong books, and 6,500 yuan in paper currency with Falun Gong information written on them.

Mr. Cai and his son were released later that night. Ms. Cao is being held in the Jilin City Detention Center.

5. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Yuhui Detained

Ms. Jiang Yuhui was arrested by officers from the Shulan City Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of July 22, 2019. Police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books. Ms. Jiang is being detained.

6. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhao Jun Arrested

Mr. Zhao Jun was arrested at home by Domestic Security Division officers on July 23, 2019. The police ransacked his mother’s home the next day.

7. [Yuexi County, Sichuan Province] Updates on Mr. Li Yusen and Four Other Practitioners

Mr. Li Yusen, 84, Mr. Hu Shuangfei, Mr. Meng Xianhui, Ms. Geng Daofen, and Ms. Ding Longfen were arrested by dozens of officers on the morning of July 14, 2019. Their homes were ransacked.

Mr. Meng and Ms. Geng were released. Mr. Li, Mr. Hu, and Ms. Ding were taken to detention centers in other counties.

8. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Wenmin Detained

Ms. Li Wenmin, in her 50s, from the Nankai District, was arrested in March 2019. She was taken to the Nankai Detention Center.

9. [Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Shi Xiuying Detained

Ms. Shi Xiuying, 70, from Qingtongxia City, was arrested by officers from the Qingtongxia Domestic Security Division in early June 2019. She was detained for 12 days at the Wuzhong City Detention Center.

10. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gu Qingai and Ms. Tian Lisha Arrested

Mr. Gu Qingai was dragged to a police car and taken to the Tianhe Police Station on the morning of July 18, 2019 for talking to a driver about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was interrogated, and his home was ransacked.

Ms. Tian Lisha from the Wendeng District was arrested at the Weihai Airport Customs on July 23 when she was about to board her flight to Taiwan. Peng Fei and others from the Airport Border Security confiscated her copy of Zhuan Falun and cut up her passport.

11. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yaofeng Arrested

Ms. Liu Yaofeng was arrested on July 26, 2019.

12. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Fuliang and Mr. Zhao Gecun Arrested

Mr. Wang Fuliang and Mr. Zhao Gecun were arrested on the afternoon of July 22, 2019. They are being held in the Yanggu County Police Department.

13. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Three Practitioners Under Investigative Detention

Mr. Mi Yingtao, Ms. Li Shufang, and Ms. Zheng Shulan were arrested on the morning of July 9, 2019 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held in the Xihanling Detention Center for 15 days, before being transferred to the Chenzhuang Detention Center on the morning of July 19 for three months of investigative detention.

14. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Liao Dawu Died Due to Persecution

Mr. Liao Dawu, 57, a real estate agent, was arrested on July 17, 2018. He was sentenced to a two-year prison term and fined 10,000 yuan.

Mr. Liao was taken to the Beihai Prison on April 9, 2019 and passed away on July 23.

15. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region] Mr. Liu Zhanjiang and Ms. Li Xiaoping Incarcerated

Mr. Liu Zhanjiang from the Midong District was sentenced to three years in prison in August or September 2018. His wife Ms. Li Xiaoping has been held in an “education camp” since 2018.

16. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Shan Hanru Remains Incarcerated Passed Release Date

Mr. Shan Hanru was incarcerated in the Wuxi Prison for seven years. His term ended in May 2019, but prison officials refuse to release him because he has not renounced his belief in Falun Gong.

17. [Huaian City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Yue Huaping Formally Arrested

Ms. Yue Huaping was arrested by officers from the Zhakou Police Station in the Qingjiangpu District on the afternoon of July 9, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution. Her home was ransacked, and she was taken to the Huaian City Detention Center.

Ms. Yue was formally placed under arrest on July 19.

18. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qiu Yufeng Detained

Ms. Qiu Yufeng was arrested on July 16, 2019. Her home was ransacked, and she was taken to a detention center.

19. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Taimin, his wife Ms. Zheng Jinwen, and their daughter from the Caofeidian District Eighth Farm were arrested around July 16, 2019. Their printers, computers, and other personal belongings were confiscated. Mr. Li is being held in the Caofeidian Detention Center, while Ms. Zheng is being held in the Tangshan First Detention Center.

Ms. Chai Shuzhen and Ms. Zhao Guiping from Qianxi County were arrested on the morning of July 22 and forcibly taken to the Kangli Hospital for a physical exam. Ms. Chai was then taken to the Tangshan Detention Center. Ms. Zhao was released after she failed the exam.

Mr. Wen Zhihua from Wenzhuang Village, Dongjiuzhai Town, was arrested by officers from the Zunhua Domestic Security Division and the Dongjiuzhai Police Station on July 24. Mr. Wen’s whereabouts are unknown.

20. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lang Shuying Detained

Ms. Lang Shuying was arrested on a bus to Qinhuangdao City on July 24, 2019, after the highway patrol checked her identity card. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Qinhuangdao Detention Center but was not accepted due to having high blood pressure. She is being held in the Chengguan Police Station in Changli County.

Ms. Lang has been on a hunger strike to protest her arrest.

21. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Zhiquan Detained

Mr. Liu Zhiquan from Liuzhai Village in Ji County was arrested by agents from the Shiyuan Township government and officers from the Shiyuan Police Station on July 12, 2019. He is being held in the Ji Detention Center.

22. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Luo Xianyu and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Luo Xianyu, 70, and her husband, Mr. Zhao, 77, visited their daughter in Hangzhou City in April 2019. They were arrested by officers from the Gaoxin Police Station in the Binjiang District for giving people Falun Gong informational materials at a supermarket.

23. [Hanchuan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Hanjiao Detained

Ms. Hu Hanjiao from the Chengguan District was arrested by officers from the Hanchuan Domestic Security Division and the Chengguan Police Station on the afternoon of July 21, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution. She was taken to the Hanchuan Detention Center for 15 days.

24. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Xiaoling Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. He Xiaoling was arrested on May 4, 2019. She was held in the Wuhan City Women’s Detention Center for ten days before being transferred to the Nanhu Brainwashing Center on Yaan Street in the Wuchang District.

25. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Dicai Detained

Mr. Chen Dicai was interrogated by officers from the Huangshigang District Domestic Security Division on the morning of July 22, 2019. He was then transferred from a detention center to the Huangshi City Detention House.

26. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Kequn Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Chen Kequn from Mengxi Town in Li County was arrested on July 22, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong at Hongwei Market. She was taken to the Changde Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Lei Anxiang was arrested for talking to people about the persecution in nearby counties. He is being held in the Chenzhou City 198 Hospital.

28. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Huilan and Ms. Li Xinhong Detained

Ms. Zhang Huilan and Ms. Li Xinhong were arrested by officers from the Huanghe Police Station on July 25, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. They were taken to the Zhaohua Detention Center.

29. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Guan Huimei, Ms. Bai Jing, Ms. Wang Suzhen, Ms. Qiu Guixiang, Ms. Zhu, Ms. Xu Yuanhua, Ms. Liu Yuan, and other practitioners from Liaoyang County were arrested on July 22, 2019.

30. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shi Wei Imprisoned

Ms. Shi Wei was taken to the Seventh Ward of Dabei Women’s Prison on July 2, 2019. Her family hasn’t been allowed to visit her.

31. [Chongqing] Mr. Long Yingming Detained

Mr. Long Yingming from the Shanpingba District was arrested by officers from the Xiaolongkan Police Station on July 23, 2019, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is being held in the Qingmuguan Detention Center.

32. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Thirteen Practitioners Arrested

Twelve Qishan County practitioners were arrested on July 10, 2019. They were Ms. Xu Mingxia, Ms. Jiao Binglan, Ms. Cao Luxia, Ms. Wang Ruiqin, Ms. Yalan, Ms. Huihui, Ms. Duan, Ms. Zhang, Mr. Shao Qihu, Ms. Li, Mr. Song Hongqi, and a practitioner whose name is unknown. Ms. Cao was released after she became ill. Mr. Song was taken to the Mei County Detention Center for 15 days. The status of the others are not known.

Mr. Shen Hongqi was arrested at his workplace (an electrical appliance repair shop) on July 22. His home was ransacked. He is being held in the Qishan Detention Center.

33. [Yulin City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Ping Detained

Ms. Liu Ping was arrested at a railway station checkpoint on July 15, 2019, after the police found 200 yuan paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them in her bag. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Hengshan Detention Center.
