The U.S. Election: A Call to Action

(Minghui.org) Master says in his new poem,

“In this majestic universe, the communist devil is making troubleFraud and corruption are harming a great nationAll the machinations make people only more despondentWhen will justice be upheld and our conscience restored?”(“On the General Election,” Team Yellow translation)

I am writing this for fellow practitioners who still have questions in their minds regarding this election. Master asks, “When will justice be upheld and our conscience restored?” Are we to leave this to everyday people? Should we pin our hopes on everyday people? Should practitioners take the election as a battle between good and evil or some political matter of everyday people?

This morning after Fa study, I read back over the new Jingwen and realized that Master is asking the question to us cultivators, not just everyday people. Doesn’t that mean it is up to us?

We can no longer sit on the fence on this matter. We must act as one body to defeat the communist devil. Master has called us to action and asked us when it will end. Master has said before that if every single one of us would send forth strong enough righteous thoughts at the same time, the evil would have been eliminated already.

Each of us has the ability to send out strong righteous thoughts and eliminate evil on the spot. Righteous thoughts can even eliminate demon-nature when one wants to eliminate it from one’s self. But the old forces will stop at nothing to have us be complacent, and now more than ever, we need to let go of our attachments and not be moved or swayed by worldly things. At this critical stage, we cultivators should quickly let go of everyday people's thoughts and ideas that do not truly matter to cultivators and lead us away from what we should be doing.

I know this is easier said than done, but we must have faith! Master is with us every step of the way. As long as we do the three things well, we are sure to succeed! When we fall down, we have to get up quickly, let it go and continue on! If we see others fall, we should stop to extend a hand.

We should all find ways to come together and strengthen our righteous thoughts. A good start may be to send righteous thoughts for a longer time or doing it more often. It is up to us to eradicate the evil communist devil that’s causing fraud and corruption in this great nation. Thank you for listening. The world is watching us and waiting.
