(Minghui.org) A Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, resident held in incommunicado for his faith in Falun Gong was recently hospitalized for a stomach condition. Because the authorities are still not allowing Mr. Lin Wuyong’s family to visit him, they are very worried about him.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Plainclothes officers showed up in Mr. Lin’s subdivision on July 12, 2019. They ordered the neighborhood’s security personnel to knock on Mr. Lin’s door, while the officers hid in the hallway.

When Mr. Lin’s wife, Ms. Ding Yiyin, 55, opened the door, the security personnel said someone downstairs was complaining about a plumbing leak in their home and demanded to come in and check their pipes.

Without realizing this was a trap, Ms. Ding opened the door, only to have the officers storm in and ransack her place. Mr. Lin, 63, was arrested with his wife. The couple’s Falun Gong books, two computers, cellphones, and other personal belongings were confiscated.

While Ms. Ding was released on bail around 2 a.m., the police continued to hold Mr. Lin in detention.

The Zhuhai City Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Lin on August 19. He was transferred to Xiangzhou District No.2 Detention Center and denied family visits.

Mr. Lin was tried by Xiangzhou District Court on January 15, 2020, but his family was kept in the dark of his case status.

On March 2, Mr. Lin’s family found out through their lawyer that he has been sent to a local hospital for a stomach condition, but the authorities refused to reveal more details about him. His family is very worried about him.
