(Minghui.org) When the Wuhan coronavirus broke out, I felt confused at the beginning, then anxious and helpless. Our coordinator organized a timely experience sharing session for us to exchange understandings, and I learned that our local practitioners had managed to cover as many residential complexes as possible just before the quarantine was put in place.
Among them, a few practitioners have been doing the three things without a moment's hesitation and did not stop their truth-clarification efforts. They continued giving out materials and clarified the facts to people in supermarkets, streets and residential complexes.
Our fellow practitioners took all kinds of opportunities to give out truth-clarification materials, and persuaded people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
Helping Hands Among Non-Practitioners
Some had clarified the facts thoroughly to the guards of a residential complex, and as a result each family in the complex has received a copy of the truth-clarification materials. As the practitioners were passing the gate each time, they would ask, “Anything special today?” The guards would answer, “Nope.” They understood the truth and would help them in any way possible. The guards will find out in the near future how lucky they are for supporting the practitioners' efforts.
A practitioner clarified the facts thoroughly to a person, and the person began helping people quit the Party.
“In the past,” he said, “I was not quite convinced by what was said on the brochures. Now I am convinced, because the catastrophe is indeed here. I will help you persuade others to quit the Party." He has given four names to the practitioner so far.
With righteous thoughts and righteous actions, practitioners are doing the three things amid difficulties, demonstrating a practitioner's true demeanor.
Cooperating as One Body
I'm especially grateful for practitioners' efforts so that we could receive Minghui Weekly and Zhengjian Weekly in time every week. The publications have combined the efforts of numerous fellow practitioners. They are like a beacon shining above the dark waters.
Practitioners treat each other like long lost family. We encourage and support each other, and cooperate as one body. A fellow practitioner's plain words were sincere and contained much wisdom.
”We became a bundle of chopsticks instead of a lot of single chopsticks when we cooperated as one body. Let's follow Master and leave no one out."
Comparing myself with fellow practitioners, I have seen a lot of my shortcomings. I must cherish the time of Fa-rectification that Master has extended for us. I must cultivate myself well and try my best to save people. This is my responsibility!
Clarifying the Truth Over the Phone
I'd like to share a story about truth-clarification on the phone.
I found a telephone prefix and made up the four-digit line numbers randomly. Three phone calls were answered by middle-aged women. It did not take long for them to agree to quit the CCP, and they thanked me repeatedly. I could feel their fear and helplessness at the beginning, and after listening to my truth-clarification, their voices were filled with sincere appreciation.
My phone was ringing. I figured the caller had missed my call, and was using the caller ID to call me back. I took a deep breath and answered it.
The caller said, “Hello. You called me. What can I do for you?" He sounded as if he was about 50 years old.
I said politely, “Hello, sorry for interrupting you! The epidemic is so rampant right now, I'd like to be direct and tell you, recite 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good!' sincerely, and you will be safe!"
He immediately said, “Oh, you're Falun Gong!” after my agreeing to his remark he said, "You sound quiet young and educated. Why practice this? Of course I can feel your kindness. I thank you for that. Thanks!"
He continued, “Nonetheless, an epidemic so ferocious isn't something that can be stopped by reciting some Falun Gong phrases.
I talked about how Nero's persecution of Christianity resulted in four epidemics in ancient Rome. I wanted to continue to talk about the persecution of Falun Gong, but was unable to cover everything. I was anxious and said, “Did you know? Ancient Rome was so powerful. It covered three continents of Europe, Asia and Africa, and dominated the Mediterranean Sea. Such an invincible empire was eliminated after four epidemics.”
He asked, “What's the use of practicing Falun Gong? You have so many choices in life.”
"Please hear me out,” I said. “At the time of the Roman epidemics, well, think of it as a story if you don't believe me, the angels dictated where the virus would be sent. The virus had eyes. If you recite 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is Good!' sincerely, you will be spared by the epidemic.”
He asked sarcastically, "Falun Gong existed during ancient Rome?"
“Different times had different ways of salvation,” I said.. “For five thousand years, Chinese people's faith in Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism has maintained human morality at a high level, and enabled human kind to last until this day. Given this epidemic, I am not joking around, nor discussing knowledge with you. My understanding is shallow when compared to other Falun Gong practitioners, and my knowledge probably will fall short when compared to you.”
I continued, “I have only one wish for you, I wish you could be spared by the disaster, and have a great future. I guess you are a party member. If you accept my suggestion, please quit the Party using the name xxx, and you will be safe if you keep 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good!' in your heart. What do you think?”
He agreed, and said that he had to leave. I heard noises on his end and believed him. I told him again, “Remember the name xxx. Have the mark of the Communist Party removed, alright?” He agreed with my suggestion.
I was teaming up with a practitioner to clarify the facts on the streets. We ran into a practitioner who encouraged me to write this story down and share it. As we were talking, my teammate has already helped a young couple quit the Party. She gave each of them an amulet, and the young couple thanked her sincerely. She was almost moved to tears.
