(Minghui.org) The spread of coronavirus in China is making it difficult for Falun Dafa practitioners to save people. Many areas and regions are under lockdown. Factories have been shut down, stores closed, and access to residential areas restricted.
This has created a difficult situation for practitioners to clarify the facts to people. Some practitioners’ supplies for making informational materials are running out. And people are avoiding coming in contact with others or keep a distance from other people to avoid possible infection. Many others choose to stay at home.
Recently, the Chinese government is forcing people to return to work to rescue the economy, even though the epidemic is still running rampant. All the state-controlled media outlets claim that the situation is improving. Not realizing the danger, people went back to the streets and some supermarkets and restaurants were filled with people again.
I was very angry when I first heard that people are required to go back to work now. I felt that the Chinese Communist Party is risking the lives of everyone. When I spoke with friends or family members over the phone, I tried my best to tell them the true situation of the epidemic. However, it was hard for me to explain to them the full picture, as all our phone calls were monitored by the communist regime.
As I was writing this article, I suddenly realized that if we look at the matter from another perspective, isn't returning to work providing another opportunity for Dafa practitioners to clarify the truth?
When people are returning to work, many functions of the society were also turned back on and stores and markets were open again. We can now purchase supplies for truth-clarifying materials. There are also more opportunities for us to talk to people and clarify the facts to them.
I realize that nothing happens by accident. Any opportunity for us to save people is now precious to come by. We need to cherish such opportunities and save people as fast as we can. For practitioners, especially those who had not done well in the past, we should do even better to make it up.
As for myself, I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996 when I was a child. I have stumbled in my cultivation but kept going with Master's help and guidance.
I did not study the Fa much in the past. As a result, I didn't understand that time was short. I was complacent and not very diligent in saving sentient beings. But through intensive Fa study while I stayed home during the lockdown, I had so many fresh understandings and also realized that I have fallen short, compared to those diligent practitioners.
Here I am letting Master know that I will do better in the three things. There are still many people to be saved in the short time remaining. I will balance work and cultivation well, and walk my path with righteous thoughts and actions.
