(Minghui.org) I’m a doctor at a city-level hospital. I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. As soon as the coronavius began spreading during Chinese New Year in 2020, my hospital was crowded with patients. Every day was like working in a war zone.

Master said: “Haven’t I said that with one person practicing, the whole family benefits?” (Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia) My parents are fine during this pandemic. I didn’t worry for myself, so I was the first tovolunteer to work with infected patients.

I was assigned to treat suspected cases. What we faced was worse than the worst-case scenario. There weren’t enough supplies, the management was chaotic, the number of the cases was sky high. We had to wear protective suits and work all night. The skin on my hands was damaged by the disinfectant; my nose, ears, and chin were injured by the goggles; and I couldn’t fall asleep because of severe hypoxia.

The patients were not allowed to have family members take care of them. I was really worried about them and decided to clarify the truth about Dafa to every one I interacted with. I would urge them to quit the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) organizations they joined.

I took good care of each of my patients. I collected samples from them and delivered their meals. I knew Master was protecting me, so I wasn’t afraid of having physical contact with them. I helped the elderly patients use the bathroom and helped the handicapped to get in and out of their wheelchairs. My kindness touched many people, and I gained their trust. This helped me clarify the truth to them.

Because their families could not visit them, most patients were depressed and scared. I comforted them. I pointed out that the wide spread of this pandemic was due to the Party’s corrupt morality and its cover-up of the outbreak. I commented that Chinese society is filled with fake products, including fake medicine and fake food; people do all kinds of terrible things for money, and the environment had been ruined because government officials wantonly chased economic expansion over people’s health.

I said the Party also destroyed China’s traditional values and attacks spiritual beliefs like Falun Dafa, which teaches people to live by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Instead, the CCP promotes violence and disregard for human life, resulting in many disasters. I told them that only by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and disassociating themselves from the Party would they have a safe and bright future.

Most patients accepted what I said, but some needed to hear more. Although taking off and putting on the protective suit to go in and out of the quarantine room was time-consuming, I still went there. I asked them to remember, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I also sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate anything that would prevent them from accepting what I said.

I also clarified the truth to my colleagues. I volunteered for many tasks and gained the trust and high regard of hospital administrators and my co-workers. Many listened to me and quit the Party.

I often became tearful when I looked at all the patients lining the hallways. I really hoped that I could clarify the truth to all of them and save them. Every life is precious. It would really be a pity if they were destroyed along with the CCP.

I was later assigned to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The workload there was even heavier. We had to spend every minute inside the unit, and there were all kinds of protective measures. Again, I volunteered to do a lot of work. I wrote case reports, helped patients in and out of bed, and helped the elderly go to the bathroom.

An older lady I had helped in the suspected case room was later moved to the ICU. She was happy to see me again. “We really have a predestined relationship,” she said. I often chatted with her. I reminded her to say, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She recovered very well.

Her brother-in-law became infected and was very sick. After a month of intensive treatment, he passed away. I was on duty the day he died. I gave him cardiac compression but was unable to save his life. All of his family members were quarantined. The nurses and I placed his body in the bag. I felt bad that I didn’t have a chance to clarify the truth to him. Life is precious. This case warned me not to slack off in clarifying the truth due to my own laziness and fear.

My brother-in-law’s friend was sent to the ICU. The hospital tried to figure out which people he had contact with in the three weeks before he was hospitalized. The hospital promised that his private information would never be leaked, but they didn’t keep their promise. His contacts were put on websites, causing him and his family tremendous pressure. The family felt that they had lost face, and his job was impacted too. My brother-in-law asked me to comfort them.

His entire family was quarantined in the hospital. When I visited them, they were fighting with doctors—they refused to take treatment because of the leak of private information. They demanded to talk to the mayor. The doctors asked me to help convince them.

When the doctors left, we were alone. I started by telling them how the CCP tried to cover up the pandemic. Then I asked them to remember, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I helped them quit the Party. They appreciated my sincerity and felt my kindness and compassion. One of them said, “Most people avoid us, but you’ve taken the risk and talked to us. We are very grateful and we trust you.”

I was happy to have a chance to clarify the truth during this special period. Afterwards they treated me as a trusted friend, and we often talked on the phone. The whole family is safe now. Their private information was also deleted from the Internet.

Many doctors and nurses from other hospitals were temporarily assigned to work at our hospital. The hospital assigned us a special rest area, and everyone took breaks there between their shifts. I used this opportunity to clarify the truth to many colleagues. I made sure that I studied the Fa, did the exercises, and sent forth righteous thoughts every day. I was able to convince many colleagues to quit the Party and learn the truth.

When health care providers were quarantined, we stayed at a hotel. I phoned everyone I could think of and clarified the truth to them. One person I knew I needed to talk to was the Party committee head for my department. I didn’t know what to say. One day she sent a message to everyone in my department—the hospital ordered us to keep the numbers of the confirmed cases and deaths secret because the city government lied to higher authorities about the numbers. We had to help the city cover up their lie.

I took this opportunity to call her. I started by talking about the CCP’s lies during this pandemic. I then told her how I benefited from practicing Falun Dafa and how the Party uses lies to slander Falun Dafa. I told her that many people feel blessed and safe after quitting the Party. Surprisingly, she accepted my words and agreed to quit the Party.

Everyone has a knowing side that cannot be deceived by the CCP’s propaganda. As long as we sincerely try to save them, they will sense our mercy and make the right choice.

I was afraid that I would miss clarifying the truth to some of my friends and relatives, and that they would pass away from the virus. That would be my biggest regret.

The intensive 50-day job was finished, and I safely returned home.

Many health care workers contracted the virus, and many passed away. The CCP lied, and the real numbers are much higher than the one they told the world.

The CCP promised everyone a bonus and stipend at the beginning of the intensive work period, but they broke their promise. Many young physicians and nurses only make 2,000 yuan a month (roughly 300 U.S. dollars). They still haven’t received anything. The CCP required documents and proof, such as photos, to prove that they worked in the COVID-19 patients’ rooms, even though they had already repeatedly submitted documentation during the pandemic.

Some health care givers were angry that they took great risk to work on the COVID-19 cases. Their motivation was not money, but they said the CCP was insulting them. “We have no photos to prove we worked there. We’ve given up on the bonus and stipend,” they said.

I hope that people will wake up and recognize the true, destructive nature of the CCP so they will have a bright future.
