(Minghui.org) Many of my family members started to practice Falun Dafa in June 1996. All of them benefited from practicing Falun Dafa. They recovered from illnesses, and their families became harmonious and peaceful.
We introduced Falun Dafa to other relatives. They saw the changes in our family. Some of them started to practice as well. All of them knew that Falun Dafa is good. Although some didn’t practice, they still benefited from Dafa as long as they were supportive, or had a positive attitude towards Falun Dafa. My uncle’s sons and daughters didn’t practice, yet they were able to recover from tribulations due to their support of Falun Dafa.
My Family Persecuted
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999. Some of my family members were persecuted. We became destitute, had to move, and rented an apartment in the provincial city.
We established a materials production site at our home. The CCP provincial department found it in 2008 and arrested four of us, leaving behind my elderly parents, and two children in primary school. They showed our parents four warrants. My father in his 80s couldn’t bear such a hard blow and became bedridden. My mother had to take care of my father and the two children.
Several local community officers were punished because Falun Dafa practitioners lived in their areas that they monitored. They asked our landlord to have my parents move out within one week. How could my parents possibly move without help? Where could they move?
My Cousins Helped My Parents
When my mother didn’t know what to do, my father who had been in bed for three days suddenly got up, and wanted to walk around outside. He came across my younger cousin riding a bicycle when he turned around the corner. They were surprised to see each other. They hadn’t seen each other for quite a few years and didn’t know where the other party lived.
My younger cousin normally went out by car. But that day he rode a bicycle. He had never been to the street where my parents lived. There were too many accidental elements to this meeting. If it was not arranged, nobody could think of any other reason. When my father told my mother, they realized that Master Li (the founder) must have arranged it, and protected them.
When my younger cousin learned what had happened to my family and the predicament my parents faced, he helped look for an apartment and called his brother and sister to come from the village to help them move. They cooked for my parents and two children and looked after them. They stayed with them for two months until my parents' life was stable before they returned home.
The CCP officers searched our materials production site and asked family members to help clear other stuff. My younger cousin took care of what was necessary. He found Master Li’s (the founder) photos in a cabinet and put them within a pile of clothes and gave them to my parents. My father was very touched and said to him: “You are doing the right thing. You have accrued enormous virtue for yourself!”
My Younger Cousin had a Narrow Escape
My younger cousin was driving home on a one-way road one night in August in 2009. A police car drove directly toward him at a high speed from the opposite direction and collided with him. He was injured badly. The two policemen were drunk. My cousin overheard them saying that they would be in big trouble because of his bad injury and that they would rather hit him to his death and pay some money.
So the policemen got back in their car, reversed, and then drove towards the disabled car. My cousin was terrified and jumped out of his car, although in great pain. The policemen got out of their car and started to chase him. My cousin moved forward with great effort and slowly, but they were unable to catch him. After a seemingly long time, my cousin finally got home and fell down to the floor. His wife took him to the hospital. Two of his sternums were broken, and his shoulder blade cracked. He stayed in the hospital for over a month.
He told my parents about this incident after he was discharged from the hospital. My father said to him: “You survived this accident because you have done something good for Dafa. You have been blessed.” He agreed.
Later on, he lodged a lawsuit against these two policemen and won the case. He was compensated with a large amount of money.
My Elder Cousin Survived a Car Accident
My elder cousin was hit by a car when he was riding a bicycle on a country road one day in May 2017. His head was badly injured, and he went into a coma. An operation was done on his head. The doctor stopped any treatment of him after he stayed in the ICU for three days. His family members were notified to prepare for the worst.
His sister cried and called my sister. My sister asked her to repeat “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She repeated these two phrases day and night and also asked his wife and son to join her to repeat the phrases.
The next day she called my sister again and said that he opened his eyes occasionally. My sister told her that Master had already taken care of him, and there was hope for him. My sister asked her to continue reciting the two phrases, and asked Master Li to save her brother,
My elder cousin awakened after three days. That shocked the doctors. They were amazed at how lucky he was.
The doctors didn’t know the real reason for his survival. Even my cousins didn’t know how to explain this remarkable situation. They just believed that Falun Dafa is good, and had done whatever my sister asked them to do.
Only our family members knew that he was blessed because they helped Dafa practitioners during a difficult time.
Younger Cousin Recovered from Fatal Pneumonia
My younger cousin contracted pneumonia in March 2019. He was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the infectious diseases ward due to his serious symptoms.
The patients there died one after another. His condition worsened every day and he relied on a ventilator. The doctor said that his lungs did not work well, although the best, imported medicine was used. He stayed in the ICU for 15 days.
The doctor stopped all medication two months later. He had difficulties in breathing and was on the brink of death. But his mind still worked properly. He remembered that Falun Dafa saved his brother. He thought of Master and the two phrases. So he recited “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” again and again in his heart when he was awake.
Gradually he could breathe without much problem, and he could eat. He continued reciting these two phrases. Then, he was transferred out of the ICU. The nurse told him that he was the only person ever who was moved out of the ICU. He recovered soon and was discharged from the hospital.
He came to visit us and said: “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Reciting these two phrases saved my life. I asked Master to save me when I was in the hospital bed. I want to learn the Falun Dafa exercises now.” We gave him some Dafa books to read.
Falun Dafa is amazing. Some of our also relatives started to practice Falun Dafa after 2009.
