(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and march in Seoul, South Korea on July 19, 2020, to mark 21 years of peacefully protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Over 700 practitioners gathered in downtown Seoul with face masks worded “Heaven disintegrates the CCP,” “Stop the persecution of Falun Gong,” and so on. The large banner worded “The 21st Anniversary of Protesting the Persecution. Only Disintegrating the CCP Can Stop the Persecution” was eye-catching.

Dr. Kim, director of the Korea Institute for International Strategy, said, “Falun Gong practitioners are admired in their requesting disintegration of the CCP when the whole of South Korea fears the Party.”

“The politicians in South Korea should challenge the CCP and say no to the tyranny in an upright and dignified way. To stop the CCP’s persecution, members of National Assembly should participate in this rally and speak up against the Party.”

Dr. Kim had a live broadcast of the rally and march on his social media page so that more people could see the event.

The march departed at 2:00 p.m. from Cheonggyecheon Hanguang Plaza, and passed through the bustling streets of Myeongdong, the Bank of Korea, and the Chinese Embassy. It ended near Namsan, a famous scenic spot in South Korea. The total distance was about two kilometers (1.24 miles).
