I liked these people and the links they sent. I opened the links and started reading articles on the Dongtaiwang and Secretchina websites.
I then accidentally opened the first lecture of Zhuan Falun. At that time, I was not good at using anti-censorship software and didn’t know how to download files. I found links from those people’s posts every day. But by the time I came across Zhuan Falun, it was time to go home. So I was only able to read the first lecture.
After using Weibo for four months, I read the article “Gulag Memories,” posted by a Falun Dafa practitioner. At that time I didn't know what Falun Dafa was about, so I asked her for more information. She sent me a CD immediately, but told me that the book Zhuan Falun would not be available for a few days. Later I was too busy to access Weibo and missed her response.
I saw her message the next day. She said that the book was no longer available, and asked me to wait. I then lost contact with her and later learned that she and another practitioner had been illegally arrested and persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
I was very eager to get a Falun Dafa book, but didn’t know what to do. I found another person and sent him a private message. He promised to send me a copy he had. The book had been copied, had no cover, and was wrapped in white paper.
At that time, I didn’t know how precious this book was. Because no one told me to read it from start to finish, I just put Falun Gong on the sofa and read it when I had time. I was muddleheaded.
After seeing the pictures demonstrating the exercises, I felt they looked good, and I wanted to learn them. So I drew the pictures from memory, because I didn't know how to download them, and the online videos were too slow. I gave up every time before I could finish the first exercise set.
Someone then sent me a private message, asking if I had done the “three withdrawals.” I told him that I did them online, but I wanted to learn the exercises. He asked if I had the Falun Gong book. I told him that someone had already sent me the book and CD. He told me that he would send me more materials in a few days. He sent me the exercise videos and e-books of Master Li’s Fa teachings.
After I downloaded them, he told me, “Today you are a new practitioner, you have a Master!” My heart was pounding, and my face blushed as I smiled. That night, I dreamed that I was standing in a small auditorium, and there were several tall people passing by my left side. The one in the front turned around after passing, pointed to my right and said, “You can sit there and listen to the lecture with us.” I think that I truly obtained the Fa at that point!
