Curtail the “Zero-Out” Campaign by Telling Officials about Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) recently started another round of persecution targeting Falun Gong practitioners—the “Zero-Out” campaign.

On August 5, 2020, Ms. Liu, a member of the community committee, called and told me to sign the three statements. When I asked her who’d instructed her to do that, she said it was her superior. I then invited both of them to my home to tell them the facts about Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) and the persecution.

Ms. Liu came with a man she introduced as director Zhao of the community committee. I invited them in and said, “I want to tell you what’s on my mind. Your contacting me is considered harassment and is illegal. For your own good, I hope you stop doing this.”

I asked Zhao, “Is our country governed by law or by man?” He did not answer. “China is governed by man, not the law. Our country has laws but the people in power do not enforce the law or follow it; the CCP positions itself above the law.

“The persecution of Falun Gong proves this. Falun Gong is one of the high-level cultivation ways of the Buddha School. The Constitution guarantees us freedom of belief, so the persecution is illegal!”

When I asked Zhao what the 14 cults listed by the Ministry of Public Security were, he said he didn’t know. “You’d better read it online. Jiang Zemin defamed and ordered the persecution of Falun Gong. We explain the facts to people and appeal to the government to stop the persecution. However, the CCP slanders our efforts as being anti-Party.

“Since there is no ‘anti-Party’ law, the CCP made up the charge of ‘subverting state power and undermining law enforcement’ to persecute us. These charges are absurd and groundless; only a dictatorship could fabricate them!”

I then asked them if they’d read Zhuan Falun}, which they hadn’t

“I feel sorry for you. In Zhuan Falun Master Li Hongzhi taught us to practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and become better people. However, the CCP persecutes us; you are following the CCP by trying to stop us from practicing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to ‘{{transform’ us. What do you want to ‘transform’ us into? Do you want us to follow lies, evil, and violence? Do you want us to be bad people?

“Before cultivating Falun Gong, I suffered from 25 ailments, including heart disease, epilepsy, diabetes, a herniated disc, arthritis, high blood pressure, gastric ulcers, and aphasia. I could not hold a regular job. I tried both Chinese and Western medicine and visited renowned medical experts in Beijing and Shanghai—all for nothing.

“After I started cultivating Falun Gong in 1997, all my health problems disappeared and now I am healthy. But my wife listened to the CCP’s lies after the persecution started and signed the three statements to give up practicing Falun Gong. She came down with ovarian cancer in 2016 and passed away in 2017.”

Zhao replied, “No one can cure cancer.” I told him, “My wife had advanced-stage ovarian cancer, but the hospital could not find cancer cells in her uterus. The doctors said that her case was very strange. If my wife had not given up cultivation, she would have lived. Countless people truly cultivating Dafa have recovered from all kinds of cancers.”

When Zhao asked about the Tiananmen self-immolation, I told him it was a hoax orchestrated by the CCP to frame Falun Gong.

“NTDTV’s documentary ‘False Fire’ shows what really happened. Wang Jindong, the main participant, looked severely burned with his hair scorched. But the plastic Sprite bottle between his legs, filled with gasoline, did not melt from the heat; that is bizarre!

“Li Yuqiang, the CCTV reporter, had to admit publicly that the video footage was taken afterwards. Liu Siying, another participant, had a tracheotomy but could still speak and sing clearly when a reporter interviewed her. Any sensible person could tell that the footage was faked. Falun Gong practitioners do not kill; suicide is also considered a sin. That is a basic requirement for our practitioners.

“There are more than 100 million people practicing in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. There are hundreds of thousands of people practicing Falun Gong in Taiwan. Only the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and bans people from practicing it.”

Zhao asked, “If Falun Gong is not illegal, why didn’t the government redress the injustice?” I said, “Jiang Zemin started the persecution out of jealousy and his own self-interest. Several other Standing Politburo Committee members disagreed with the persecution. Jiang, however, insisted and vowed ‘to eradicate Falun Gong in three months.’

“He set up the 610 Office to specifically persecute Falun Gong and spent a quarter of the country’s financial resources on carrying out the persecution. But over 20 years later, Falun Gong has not been eradicated. More and more people have started practicing Falun Gong instead.

“Evil cannot suppress righteousness! Jiang was sued in an international court for genocide and crimes against humanity. He is the chief culprit of the persecution and must be held accountable. More than 200,000 practitioners have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Procuratorate.

“You asked why Falun Gong has not been redressed. It is because the CCP knows that cultivating Falun Gong is legal; if it admits the persecution violates the law, it would be the same as admitting the CCP was wrong, and that they cannot bear!

“Therefore, Jiang’s followers continue to persecute Falun Gong. In fact, the CCP itself is an evil cult. It is not qualified to redress us. From the day the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, the gods have already determined its demise!”

I then asked if he’d read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Zhao said he hadn’t.

“It’s a pity that you haven’t! The CCP seized control of our country 70 years ago. Only the Nine Commentaries explains the evil nature of the CCP. Jiang Zemin being able to carry out the persecution was also because the persecution conformed to the CCP’s evil nature.

“The Nine Commentaries has been published for 16 years, but the CCP has not dared to respond, and the CCP is afraid of people reading it. Many people who do read it understand the evil nature of the CCP and have quit its organizations; more than 300 million people have quit. I have also quit using my real name.”

Zhao said, “You are opposing the CCP! Who pays your salary?”

I said, “Let me correct you. It’s not that the CCP pays our wages. The CCP does not produce anything. Where does its money come from? My pension is what I earned and accumulated through my lifelong work.

“The government only administrates the funds. If I had not paid the five insurances (endowment insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, employment injury insurance, and maternity insurance) when I worked, I would not have received anything from the government.

“All the social expenditures are our tax money. The CCP, however, exploits our tax money without limit; we are feeding a large number of government officials and Party members. What a heavy burden we are bearing!”

I asked him how much made and he answered, “3000 plus yuan per month.”

“Our wages would be at least double that without the CCP’s officials’ excessive spending! Our tax rate is about 50%, about the same level as in France. But housing, medical, and schooling are either free or subsidized in France while we still have to pay these costs. Without the CCP, our tax burden would be reduced by half, and we could really live a good life!

“Our wages, housing, medical, and other benefits would be at least the same level as in Taiwan. Then, director Zhao, your salary would be 10 to 20 thousand yuan instead of only 3000 plus yuan.”

Zhao then said, “This time we just came to see if you are having any difficulties. Let us know, and we will help you.”

I replied, “Thank you. As long as I can cultivate without interference, I can resolve all difficulties by myself.”

Just then his phone rang and he had to leave. I invited them to stay for dumplings but they said they had to leave. I then told them, “We are friends now, and you are welcome to visit me any time.”

Since then, no one from the community committee has ever come again. The CCP’s recent “Zero-Out” campaign, in my opinion, is another round of tests for our Falun Gong practitioners.

It is also an opportunity for us to talk about Falun Gong to these officials who are implementing the “Zero-Out” campaign.

When these harassing officials visit, some practitioners refuse to open their doors. Some have given in to them and gone to the police station and community committees, where they were overwhelmed, threatened, and pressured to sign the three statements to renounce Falun Gong.

Master Li taught us,

“Should you have fear,it will seize upon youIf thoughts are righteous,evil will collapseThe cultivator’s mindis loaded with FaSend righteous thoughts,and rotten demons explodeGods walk the earth,validating the Fa”(“What’s to Fear?” in Hong Yin Vol. II)

We should not be afraid. We should talk to those people openly and with dignity and help them to understand Falun Gong. We should tell them not to do evil for the CCP anymore so that they and their families can have a good future.
