(Minghui.org) My brother called me two weeks ago that our 96-year-old father was infected with COVID. He lives in a rural area and was usually able to plant vegetables and take care of himself.

Our father developed generalized pain along with incontinence. My brother called an ambulance but was declined because there was no ambulance available and there were no more beds in the hospital. My brother tried but he could not get our father out of bed.

My brother felt helpless and hopeless. I told him not to worry but to recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I also told him the stories of how others benefited from reciting the phrases not long ago.

Our father was able to get up himself and eat breakfast all by himself the next day after reciting the phrases overnight. My brother then called a taxi to take our father to the hospital. All state-owned hospitals in town were at capacity, and my brother managed to secure a bed in a private hospital.

Our father shared a room with three other patients. He was busy taking medications and receiving injections since the admission and forgot to recite the auspicious phrases. Three days later, he developed a high fever and was not able to keep food down. He was in and out of consciousness which scared my brother.

My brother told me that there were patients dying daily, and our father’s room had three patients deceased there over the past few weeks. My brother wondered if our father could make it. I asked him whether they were still reciting the auspicious phrases. My brother said they did not.

I reminded him of Dafa’s healing power and my brother again urged our father to recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

The next day, my brother called me saying that our father’s fever subsided and he was up and able to eat again. I told them to continue reciting the phrases. In the afternoon, my brother said that our father was doing very well. He got up and began walking around. The doctor said he could be discharged that afternoon.
