Accompanied by uplifting music, the march started from the National Mall, moved along Pennsylvania Avenue and Constitution Avenue, and then returned to the National Mall.
Those who posted on social media included State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, Ambassador at Large Rashad Hussain, and three House Representatives.
“They believe that they have the ability to commit these atrocities without repercussions and the world would remain silent," said Senator Ted Cruz.
