(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

At the beginning of winter, late last year to early this year, officers from some police stations, including the Fengtai Police Station and the Dongge Police Station in Pingdu City violated the law and continuously harassed Falun Gong practitioners Pang Jiancai, Hou Xiuxiang, Qiu Shuhui, Hou Dongmei, and others.

2. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Jinlan Arrested

Elderly Ms. Liu Jinlan was reported to the police when she was distributing Falun Gong materials at the Lutou farmers market on the morning of February 3, 2024. She was arrested and taken to the Lutou Town Police Station for questioning. She refused to cooperate or answer any questions. She told the police that all of her illnesses were resolved after she started practicing Falun Gong. She urged them to read the Falun Gong materials they confiscated. Her daughter took Ms. Liu home.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qu Yuanzhi and Ms. Sheng Shuli Harassed

Officer Jiao Hengyu from the Zhugou Police Station, along with others in Jiudian Town, Pingdu City, went to the homes of Ms. Qu Yuanzhi and Ms. Sheng Shuli at around 5 p.m. on January 27, 2024, to harass them. When they arrived at Ms. Qu’s home and were about to take a photo of her, she closed the door. They went to Ms. Sheng’s home and said they were looking for her. They tried to take photos of her with their cell phones. They were not able to, so they left.
