Saving People Despite Experiencing Tribulations

(Minghui.org) I have realized the urgency of saving people through studying the Fa with a peaceful heart. I am always thinking about the safety of people when facing disasters. The following is my experience when involved in recent truth-clarification work.

Clarifying the Truth to People in Special Professions

I often meet a certain type of people. As soon as I start talking about Falun Dafa, they say that they are from the government, or work in the police department, and so on, and ask me to stop. Usually I would say, “Gods and Buddhas save people before disaster strikes, regardless of their profession. In the eyes of gods and Buddhas, we are all precious lives.

“The great compassion of gods and Buddhas have for life is unimaginable to us. The Buddha’s teachings are boundless. As long as you understand the truth about Dafa and have a correct attitude toward Dafa and Dafa practitioners, you will be saved.” They usually are speechless after hearing this.

I would continue, “There is a scale between heaven and earth, which measures people’s conscience. Currently, a multiple-choice question to measure the conscience is in front of everyone. That is the Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa. Who is righteous and who is evil? Those who make the right choice will be able to survive the catastrophe perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) elimination. Otherwise, they will be buried with them.

“Our Master is compassionate and lets his practitioners clarify the truth to the world’s people. He hopes that every living being can understand the truth, make the right choice, and survive the disaster. This is a manifestation of the compassion of the heavens. However, those who reject the truth, insist on believing the CCP’s lies that slander Dafa, and persecute Dafa practitioners will be eliminated when the persecution ends.” In the end, I advise them to quit the CCP.

Facing Tricky Problems

Some people are particularly resistant to Dafa and Dafa practitioners. When you tell them the truth, they are extremely impatient and repeatedly say, “We don’t want to hear it,” followed by some disrespectful words toward Dafa. For example, a woman said, “The CCP is suppressing you, but you still practice Falun Dafa. You are indeed crazy.”

“Auntie, we are not crazy,” I replied, “we insist on believing in the truth of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Having a belief is a right granted to us citizens by the Constitution. Although the CCP uses all sorts of ways to persecute us, we still firmly believe that gods are watching, and justice will prevail. In history, all those who persecute righteous people have failed. The law of ‘what goes around comes around’ governs every life and organization.”

I continued, “You may think that the CCP is very powerful. No matter how big it is, it cannot escape the punishment of heaven and will be destroyed. Buddha Law gives every life a chance to be saved. One needs to recognize that heaven is to destroy the CCP, and one needs to quit the Party to gain safety. Auntie, do you think what I said makes sense?”

She became silent. I went into detail about the evil nature of the CCP and the significance of withdrawing from it. I asked her to quit in the end.

Sometimes, I chat with people briefly after saying hello. They are very friendly. But when I was about to tell them about Falun Dafa, they changed completely. Once a woman said viciously, “Don’t tell me this!”

I asked her with a smile, “Sister, I see you are a kind person, but I don’t understand why you are against the truth about Falun Dafa.” She raised her voice and told me to stop, otherwise she would call the police to report me.

I was not moved, and said with a smile, “You must have believed the media’s slander against Dafa. In fact, Falun Dafa is not like that.” Then I told her the basic facts about the practice.

I said to her in a calm yet dignified tone, “Normally one should call the police only when their property has been damaged or their life is in danger. Can you tell me what I have said to hurt you? I told you the truth so you could gain blessings and ensure safety. Isn’t blessing and safety what every life prays for? Why would you want to report me?” She didn’t respond.

I continued, “People often say that if a person has done something immoral and harms others to benefit themselves that person will be punished. I am clarifying the truth to you because I hope you will be safe and healthy. If you report me, then you are both harming me and yourself. Isn’t it unwise?” She nodded and said nothing more. I took the opportunity to help her quit the CCP.

Meeting Well Dressed People

When many practitioners face young and middle-aged people who are relatively well dressed, they have an invisible worry and dare not clarify the truth. With this hesitation, the opportunity is lost. I have faced similar situations.

I dug carefully and found that fear played a big role. It is the fear of being looked down upon, scolded, or reported. It is the attachment of protecting myself that hinders me. I don’t think at the time about the terrible fate this person would face if they don’t know the truth by the end of Fa-rectification. This is something I need to cultivate and break through.

I once met a well dressed and good-looking young man on a walk. I hesitated as he passed by, and missed the opportunity. After a while, he returned. I thought that it would be worth it, even if he speaks rudely to me after hearing the truth.

I said to him, “Young man, I want to tell you something.” He stopped and asked me what it was. I replied, “Falun Dafa is practiced in more than 100 countries and regions around the world. Have you heard about it?” The young man waved his hands, to say he was not interested and began to leave.

I continued, “Do you know how much courage it took me to speak to you? I think that even if you scold me, it’s worth it as long as you hear the truth.” I got a little choked up as I spoke.

The young man responded, “Please tell me.” I said a few words, then he smiled and suggested that I take a rest, and left in a hurry. I think he might have heard the Party’s slanders against Dafa. I believe he reacted this way because it was the first time for him to hear the truth, so he was a little afraid.

I regret that my compassion was not strong enough to awaken the young man’s conscience and kindness. But I am happy that I broke through human notions and took the first step.

From now on, I will study the Fa diligently and send more righteous thoughts to eliminate my acquired notions. I will cherish every predestined person I meet, clarify the truth to him or her compassionately, and advise them to quit the CCP. In short, I must seize every opportunity.
