Falun Dafa Awakened Me and Saved My Family

(Minghui.org) I’m a 63-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner who obtained the Fa in 1998. In my more than two dozen years of cultivation practice, I experienced the extraordinary wonder of Dafa.

Before I began to practice, a person with supernormal abilities said that I will save my family one day. I didn’t understand his words. At the time, everyone in my husband’s family was more capable than I was. How could a meek woman like me save our family?

Before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, both my mother-in-law and my middle school-aged son passed away, leaving everyone filled with sorrow. After the persecution started, my eldest sister-in-law rented an apartment near her home and moved my father-in-law and my husband in without telling me. Soon after, my husband filed for divorce because I cultivated Falun Dafa. Since I had not yet recovered from the pain of losing my son, the pending breakup of my family was devastating.

I then started spending all my free time reading Zhaun Falun and immersing myself in the Fa’s principles. I tried not to feel my grief. I came to understand that the divorce was not arranged by Master Li. He does not acknowledge the persecution, and neither did I. I thought, “If I agreed to the divorce, my husband would proclaim he divorced me because I practiced Falun Dafa. Would he then be able to receive Dafa’s salvation? The divorce would ruin my family!”

I understood what was best for them, so I ignored whatever they said and tried to awaken their consciences with the kindness of a cultivator. I clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to my eldest sister-in-law and father-in-law and tried to help them understand that only by choosing kindness could they have a good future. At the same time, I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions that were trying to destroy our family.

My family did not breakup. A year later, we had a son. My having a son so late in life brought new vitality to our family, revived my family members’ hope for life, and saved us from being torn apart.

It was Falun Dafa that gave me strength and taught me to face tribulations by showing that practitioners cherish lives and have great tolerance. Practicing Dafa greatly improved my physical health and my character. I achieved the state of being illness-free and became energetic. I was also no longer attached to fame and personal gain; I believed what is mine would come to me, and I stopped competing for what shouldn’t come to me.

When conflicts arose, I always looked inside myself for insufficiencies and treated others with tolerance, understanding, and kindness. When someone bumped into me on the road and damaged my car, I didn’t blame them or ask them to pay for the damage. I felt like I owed them something in the past, and I paid the debt off. My family witnessed the beauty of Falun Dafa from my changes.

Fulfilling My Vows

The CCP launched the unprecedented persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999, and fabricated lies to defame Dafa and to deceive people. Master then asked practitioners to clarify the truth about the persecution and assist him in offering salvation to people. Below are two stories from my recent experiences of telling people the truth about Dafa and the persecution.

Story 1 – A Veteran CCP Member Quits the Party

I saw an elderly man riding a tricycle when I came out of the market. I approached him and said, “You look great! You look like a blessed person!” He answered, “When I was eight, a fortune teller also told me that I was blessed and would work for the government.”

I learned that when he was young, he served in PLA (People’s Liberation Army) Unit 8341 -- the Central Guard Regiment of the CCP. I asked, “You must have joined the Party! Have you heard of quitting the Party to ensure a safe future?” He replied, “I’m over 80 years old, and I’ve been a Party member for 60 years. I can’t quit!”

We then talked about the origins of Unit 8341 and what the number represented. I said, “The CCP advocates atheism. If the people believe in God, the CCP can no longer deceive them. The CCP is not from China; it came from Europe. After it arrived, it launched campaigns one after another: the Three Antis, the Five Antis, the Anti-Rightist Movement, the Cultural Revolution, the student crackdown in 1989, and the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999. For decades, it has never stopped persecuting the Chinese people.”

I then told him that Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice in the Buddhist school, and it teaches people to be good. Practitioners live according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I said that Dafa has spread to over 100 countries, with millions of practitioners.

I explained that to persecute practitioners the CCP fabricated the “Tiananmen self-immolation” incident to instigate hatred and create pretexts for the persecution. They even harvest organs from Falun Dafa practitioners while they’re alive.

I then told him about the “Hidden Character Stone” in Guizhou, which has the Chinese characters “The Chinese Communist Party Will Perish” engraved on it. The experts who investigated the stone concluded that the characters were naturally formed. I said, “This is Heaven’s will. Heaven will eliminate the CCP. Divine beings watch everything people do. Evil will meet with retribution, and no one can escape it. When one joins the Party, he raises his hand and swears to dedicate his life to it; he becomes part of the CCP unless he quits it. When Heaven eliminates the CCP, he will also parish.

“God looks at one’s heart. You can quit the CCP using a nickname on an overseas website. Our encounter today is not accidental. If you agree, I can help you quit.” He readily agreed and told me his name. Another life had gained salvation.

Story 2 - Master Arranged Another Opportunity for Me

Recently, my younger brother hired a contractor to renovate my mother’s residence. He asked me to stay at my mother’s home to look after it while the work was in progress. I wanted to talk to the workers about Dafa and advise them to quit the evil party and its youth organizations. But I was worried that they would report the situation to my brother’s workplace, which could jeopardize his job.

Two days passed; the renovation was almost done, but I still could not make up my mind to talk to them. I became anxious, “How could I help them to receive Dafa’s salvation if I have such a strong attachment to fear?” Eventually, the work was competed, but I still hadn’t found an opportunity to talk to them; I felt deeply regretful.

While I was preparing lunch a few days later, the two workers came again. They came to replace the cabinet floor they damaged while installing the water purifier. I knew Master arranged another opportunity after seeing my wish to offer them salvation.

While chatting, I asked the manager, “Are you a Party member? Have you heard of quitting the Party to ensure a safe future?” He said, “Yes, I am. Isn’t quitting the Party something Falun Dafa practitioners are doing?”

I talked to him about the “Hidden Character Stone” in Guizhou and that Dafa practitioners are simply sharing this truth with people.

I then told him about the CCP’s organ harvesting atrocities: “For years, major hospitals in China have been doing organ transplants, with the number of surgeries leading the world. It’s not that other countries don’t have the technology; it’s because they do not have sufficient donor organs.

“These organs must come from healthy bodies. Where do the organs come from in China? The CCP has committed countless evil deeds, and Heaven will eliminate it. Who wants to parish with it? Quit the CCP to ensure a safe future!” He agreed.

Another worker told me that he had joined the Young Pioneers and had already quit it long time ago.

I learned through experience that clarifying the truth to people and saving lives are not difficult. All sentient beings are waiting for salvation; all we need to do is to open our mouths to talk. The real challenge is to discard our human notions; this is what a Falun Dafa practitioner needs to do in order to improve their xinxing.

I have cultivated Falun Dafa for over 20 years, and all my days have been very fulfilling. Master and Dafa have awakened me, helped me through many tribulations, and strengthened my will to cultivate on my path of returning to my true origin.
