Bathed in Falun Dafa’s Divine Grace

(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996.

1. Experiencing Extraordinary Phenomena While Practicing

After that, I meditated regularly and was able to sit in the full lotus position for an hour after a year. Over time, my body felt increasingly light, to the point that my body would float up, bouncing more than a foot high. The movement was so violent that I occasionally ended up falling over next to my cushion. This happened while I was at the group practice site and went on over a month before disappearing. Many fellow practitioners witnessed this which reaffirmed Master’s teachings and encouraged them. Many predestined people who witnessed this also began cultivating Dafa as a result.

I also experienced the wondrous feeling of:

“As you sit there you will feel wonderful and very comfortable, as if you were sitting inside an eggshell” (“Chapter III Mechanics and Principles of the Exercise Movements,” The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection).

I was surrounded by powerful energy, and my body was frozen in place while my heart was flooded with unspeakable joy. My human desires and attachments vanished, and I felt pity for ordinary people lost in this worldly sea of suffering!

Once, an extremely strong energy field surrounded me as I did the second wheel-holding exercise. After completing the exercises, I was resting on my bed when a powerful energy cluster surrounded and immobilized me. I closed my eyes and saw a field of light before my eyes. My body expanded to an enormous size and a multicolored crown floated toward my head. I experienced a downward pressure on my head that lasted for a little while. Everything returned to normal afterward. I am extremely grateful to Master for his repeated encouragement!

2. Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good” Helps Me Overcome Dangers

A few years ago, I rode my electric tricycle to the agricultural bank on business. At the bank, I saw a brand new car parked at the curb. The driver was preparing to leave, so I waited until he started to move forward before pulling into his spot. Unexpectedly, the car suddenly reversed and crashed into my tricycle wheel, leaving a huge dent in the rear bumper of the car. I thought to myself, “I am a Falun Gong practitioner. If the driver says it’s my fault and wants compensation, then I will compensate him without arguing. After all, Master taught us to be good people and to be considerate.”

Just as I had finished this thought, the dented metal swelled like a balloon, restoring the bumper to its original state. The dent had vanished! My heart, which had been pounding with anxiety, immediately calmed down as I silently thanked Master! By then, the driver had stopped the car and jumped out. Seeing no trace of damage to his car, his face brightened and he drove away.

Another, more dangerous incident occurred when my family and I were returning home from visiting my seriously ill uncle in the hospital. It was 8 p.m. and drizzling. I had driven about 100 meters past a large intersection when the car suddenly went into reverse. I had never encountered anything like this before. I panicked and frantically tried to slam on the brakes, but my attempts to stop the car were ineffective. I tried shifting gears and pulling the handbrake, but nothing slowed the car down. I thought, “If we don’t stop, we risk ramming into a car approaching from behind. The impact will be huge!” I urgently recited, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master, please help us!” Our car stopped a few meters from the car directly behind us.

The passengers in my car were scared out of their wits! People in that area say that strange car accidents frequently occur there. When I got home, I kowtowed to Master in gratitude!

3. Writing Couplets to Save Sentient Beings

Putting up couplets for the New Year is a traditional Chinese custom. However, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) overriding message for the population to “make a big fortune” has led many people to pursue wealth. Auspicious traditional couplets have been replaced by the single phrase “Welcome the arrival of wealth and treasures.” To preserve Chinese tradition and save sentient beings, Dafa practitioners have been publishing couplets written by fellow practitioners on Minghui.org. Besides promoting Dafa, these couplets encourage people to maintain their morality.

My grandfather taught me calligraphy when I was young, so I have some basic skills. After a practitioner asked if I could write a couplet for her, I realized that my calligraphy skills were not accidental and were meant to validate the Fa. I agreed and carefully wrote out the phrases she had in mind. The practitioner was quite satisfied with my work, and this gave me the confidence to consider taking on a project to write couplets.

The following year, our coordinator told me she wanted to do a project to write couplets but did not know any practitioners who could write calligraphy. I volunteered, and with her agreement, took on the project.

I consulted Minghui.org and copied down all the couplet phrases they had published. I also wrote down a particularly good couplet I heard on Minghui Radio: “The sound of firecrackers dismantles the old forces; Lotus blossoms joyfully usher in a promising new universe; Eliminate the old, welcome the new.” Such couplets have a deterrent effect on evil.

Before each Chinese New Year, I purchase ink and red calligraphy paper with dragon and phoenix designs, a traditional and auspicious motif. A month before, I start writing couplets, altering the content yearly according to the progress of Fa-rectification. I try to write as many as possible to give fellow practitioners more choices. Before I start to write, I ask Master for his blessings. As I write, I maintain my righteous thoughts and work without haste or impatience, making sure the lines of each couplet match perfectly. Through my brush strokes, I hope to transmit the beauty of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which can purify the hearts of sentient beings, encourage them to revert to traditional upright values, and bring them salvation!

A local practitioner put up New Year couplets written by a practitioner, and a relative visited her. As she entered the practitioner’s home, the relative said, “Your house is so bright! It gives one a comfortable feeling.” The practitioner explained why that was so and clarified the truth about the persecution with excellent results. After that, practitioners in our area took New Year couplets more seriously.

Writing couplets requires a considerable amount of time and a quiet environment. My wife (a fellow practitioner) took over all the housework and other tasks during that time without complaint. I wish to thank her for her support!

4. Observing Otherworldly Scenes While Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

I spent some time explaining the truth about the CCP’s persecution of Dafa to a woman from northeast China, and she agreed to withdraw from the CCP. That evening while sending righteous thoughts, a scene appeared before my eyes. A huge sword, standing hilt up and sheathed, appeared directly above my head. Behind the sword, a straight railway track led up to the sky. The sword slid out of its scabbard, a process that took some time. Once fully unsheathed, the blade ascended along the track like a high-speed train, gradually increasing in speed before decelerating and stopping when it reached its destination. This scene made me realize Master was encouraging me to clarify the truth.

One evening after I returned home from putting up truth-clarification stickers, I sent righteous thoughts and saw the following: A person stood silently before a large group of neatly-dressed people standing in orderly lines. I somehow knew that these people were welcoming the return of their king. The person in front stood still for a while before walking into the crowd. The crowd instantly parted to make way while still facing this person respectfully. After sending righteous thoughts, my mind refused to calm down. I wondered, “Is Master showing me that the beings in my heavenly kingdom are looking forward to their king’s consummation and return to his position?” I felt a deep sense of responsibility! I shared my experience with my family and fellow practitioners, and they also felt greatly encouraged.

5. Udumbara Flowers Growing on Van Window

In 2018, a fellow practitioner borrowed my van. When she returned it, she excitedly told me, “I saw a cluster of Udumbara flowers growing on the side window of your van.” After confirming it was true, I spread the good news so my family, fellow practitioners, and those who lived nearby could come see this rare celestial flower. My mother counted 26 blossoms, and I took a picture with my phone so I can show it when I clarify the facts to people.

A practitioner who saw these miraculous flowers said, “Master has allowed us to see this rare flower with our own eyes. Besides serving as a sign of encouragement to your family, this should also be taken as encouragement for all Dafa disciples. From now on, we must strive to unite and save more predestined people.”

My family has a strong predestined relationship with Falun Dafa. My mother, my two sisters, my wife, and her sister are all cultivators. Although my two sons have yet to formally practice, they have good foundations, have observed scenes from other dimensions, have read Dafa books, and are very supportive of Dafa. Besides the above, members of our family have experienced many other miraculous events on our cultivation journeys. Our whole family wishes to express our gratitude to Master and Dafa!
