(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Guiling Facing Trial
Ms. Liu Guiling was scheduled to stand trial in the Changqing District Court on December 17, 2025.
2. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Chuanwen Facing Trial
Mr. Wang Chuanwen, 89, was indicted by the Zhangqiu District Procuratorate, and was scheduled to appear in the Zhangqiu District Court on December 22, 2025.
3. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Man’e and Ye Arrested
Ms. Huang Man’e and Ye from Fulong Township were arrested on November 30, 2025, by officers from the Dongpo District Police Department and Meishan City 610 Office.
4. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Henge and Her Husband Mr. Xu Zejiang Arrested
Ms. Wang Henge and her husband Mr. Xu Zejiang were arrested at home on November 14, 2025. The police ransacked their place and confiscated their Falun Gong books, informational materials, CDs, and a media player.
After taking the couple to the police station, the police came back and took away a tricycle, four cell phones, and a computer. The couple was forced to undergo physical exams the next day. Ms. Wang was found to have high blood pressure and a liver issue. She was released on bail after paying 10,000 yuan bond. Mr. Xu was admitted to the Yi County Detention Center.
5. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Hongying Harassed
Ms. Yang Hongying was harassed at home by two Liujiamiao Township Police Station officers on November 21, 2025. They threatened to suspend her pension if she continued to practice Falun Gong.
6. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ding Yan Facing Indictment
Ms. Ding Yan was arrested on May 13, 2025, and detained in a brainwashing center for 15 days. She was placed under residential surveillance after being released.
Two staffers from the judicial bureau contacted Ms. Ding’s oldest daughter on November 21, 2025 and forced her to sign Ms. Ding’s case document.
Ms. Ding was summoned to the procuratorate on December 8, 2025, and ordered to sign more paperwork. She refused to comply.
7. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Kang Yan Arrested
Ms. Kang Yan was arrested at home on December 9, 2025, by officers from the Dongzhuosu Township Police Station. They claimed that she had been recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong informational materials. The officers forcibly carried her into the police car. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Tianjin] Yang Fan Arrested
Yang Fan was arrested on November 28, 2025.
9. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Aiying Harassed
Officers from the Qingzhou City Police Department and Tanfang Police Station went to Ms. Sun Aiying’s home to harass her on December 9, 2025, but she wasn’t in. The police searched her home. When she returned in the evening, they demanded that she sign some documents, but she refused to comply.
10. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Qingling Sentenced to Two and a Half Years in Prison
Ms. Liu Qingling and her daughter Ms. Li Guiying were arrested on May 31, 2025. It was recently learned that Ms. Liu was sentenced to two and a half years in prison and fined 40,000 yuan. She was still being held in the Meizhou City Lockup at the time of this writing. Ms. Li’s case status isn’t clear.
11. [Beijing] Zhang Shuyin Arrested
Zhang Shuyin from Chaoyang District was arrested by Qianjin Police Station officers on December 4, 2025.
12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Ms. Zheng Zongfeng, 72, was followed and monitored by officer Huang on May 13, 2025. Huang followed her closely when she went to the farmer’s market. When she returned, Huang stayed outside of her home.
Ms. Yu Wenjun, 82, was arrested and taken to the police station for talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmer’s market on October 15, 2025. The police ransacked her home and confiscated all of her Falun Gong books.
Ms. Yu was arrested again on November 15, 2025, along with Ms. Zhou Guangqun, 82. The police ransacked their homes but found nothing related to Falun Gong. The two practitioners were taken to the Qingquan Town Police Station and released later that day.
