People Condemn the Persecution During Events Near the Swedish Parliament Building

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held activities on Mynttorget near the Swedish Parliament Building on Fridays and Saturdays in November 2025. They demonstrated the exercises, raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and collected signatures on a petition to end it. Many people signed the petition and said they admired the practitioners’ courage. Some Chinese tourists renounced their memberships in the CCP and its affiliated organizations during the events.

The Christmas Market near Stockholm’s Old Town opened in November. The practitioners’ event was located near the path to the Old Town and the Royal Palace, and crowds of tourists passed by. Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises while others talked with passers-by, distributed flyers, collected signatures, and raised awareness of the CCP’s persecution and its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.

Chinese Woman Renounces the CCP

Many tourists and local residents learned about the persecution during the event on Friday, November 14. A young Chinese woman read the display boards, took photos, and talked with practitioners. She said she was from southern China and because she was able to read news outside China, she knew about the persecution and the CCP’s staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident.

When a practitioner told her more details about the CCP’s persecution and forced organ harvesting for lucrative profit, she was indignant and said, “I know the CCP harms people. It instigates hatred toward the United States and Japan. It calls for patriotism, but high-level officials transfer their money and send their children to other countries.” She added, “The most horrible thing is that Chinese people have become a human mine to be killed on demand for organs so high-level officials can extend their lives. The CCP is truly a demon! Now people with righteous thoughts hate the CCP and wish it collapses.”

After she learned that more than 450 million Chinese people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations on The Epoch Times website, she agreed to quit her membership in the communist youth organizations. “I will tell my family and friends what I learned today and urge them quit the CCP,” she said. “I feel fortunate to meet Falun Dafa practitioners today.”

Police Trust Practitioners

Some Chinese tourists were amazed when they saw practitioners holding activities beside the Parliament Building. The area is special, and local practitioners and other organizations can hold events there after they obtain permits from the police.

The event organizer explained that Falun Dafa practitioners in Sweden are protected by the police. Swedish police trust practitioners who follow Falun Dafa’s guiding principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and conduct peaceful protests. The organizer said the police approved the practitioners’ application to hold events on weekend days in November and December because they know practitioners are good people and they are calling for help to stop the persecution.

A Couple Admires Practitioners’ Efforts

Norbert is an engineer. He and his wife Susanne signed the petition after reading the display board. They expressed sympathy for practitioners in China. Norbert said, “The human rights violations in China are terrible. I have a friend who worked for a Chinese-owned company in Sweden. After he expressed his opinion about China’s human rights violations, the CCP blacklisted him and denied his visa to travel to China.”

Norbert said that the CCP bans freedom of speech and belief, and their persecution is cunning and wicked. The couple praised the practitioners’ efforts. Norbert said, “You expose the CCP’s forced organ harvesting that it tries to cover up. What you are doing is right and people admire you.”

Tourist from Brazil Condemns the CCP’s Forced Organ Harvesting

Many tourists learned about the persecution during the event on November 27 and 28. A young man from Brazil asked a practitioner, “Can I take photos and video footage? I will post them to let more people know this (forced organ harvesting).” He condemned the CCP’s forced organ harvesting.

He said, “I recently learned about the forced organ harvesting—that the Chinese government has done this for years. This is so evil. Absolutely unacceptable! The whole world is against it. I always wanted to do something. Now I know beside signing the petition, I can help spread the information. Thank you for telling people this important information. Everyone should work together to stop the persecution. Otherwise, it (the CCP) will harm the world.”

He expressed his interest in learning more about Falun Dafa and accepted a flyer in Portuguese.

Greek Couple Sign the Petition

A middle-aged couple from Greece paused to read the information about the CCP’s persecution and forced organ harvesting. They were stunned and immediately signed the petition.

The husband said, “When I see the information about the forced organ harvesting I recall the human body exhibition. I felt those bodies looked Asian. At that time, it was exhibited all over the world, but later, perhaps because some flaws were exposed, the exhibition tour was stopped. Now I know those bodies were people who were persecuted by the CCP. The CCP is evil and cruel.”
