Clarifying the Truth and Saving People

(Minghui.org) Last March, I was returning from the city to my hometown in a rural area, and I wanted to bring back an electric bike. I called for a ride and the driver said it would be 30 yuan for both me and the bike. There was one other person in the vehicle. I asked the driver, “This vehicle can fit four or five people. Why are you leaving with just two passengers?” The driver told me that it was a tough year, and not many people were calling for rides.

The driver then received a phone call, and someone wanted to transport some items. He asked us to wait for a while. I asked the other passenger, “Are you in a hurry?” He said he wasn’t, and that it was good if the driver could earn a bit more money. “You are kindhearted,” I replied. “Have you heard of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations to ensure your safety?” He said someone in the city had talked to him about it, but he hadn’t quit.

I continued, “You’re a good person. That’s why someone told you about it. The Buddha saves those with predestined ties. Today, I also want to tell you about this wonderful thing. All you have to do is agree in your heart to quit the CCP and remember the words, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ and you’ll be blessed with safety and happiness.” He said he had joined the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers, so I helped him quit. Just then, the driver finished loading the vehicle.

When we reached the other passenger’s home, I helped him carry his bags to his front gate. He thanked me repeatedly. I said, “No need to thank me. Our Master teaches us to be good people. Just remember the two auspicious phrases, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’” He waved goodbye and said he understood.

After getting back in the vehicle, the driver thanked me, saying, “Helping customers with their stuff should have been my job. You did it for me.”

I replied, “I noticed you were having some difficulties walking.” He told me it was due to aftereffects of a stroke. I said, “Brother, just sincerely recite the two auspicious phrases, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you’ll be protected with peace and happiness.” I told him how the CCP and former CCP leader Jiang Zemin’s gang persecuted innocent people who practice Falun Dafa and follow these principles.

“The CCP is rotten to the core and corruption is everywhere,” he responded. “The common people suffer every day. Gas prices keep rising. Today, I only took two passengers, which is not even enough money for the gas. I don’t believe anything the CCP says. I don’t even glance at their news reports.”

I asked if he had quit the CCP. He said he hadn’t, and wanted to know what it meant. I asked him, “Do you believe in divine beings?” He said that he did, and said he believes that there are layers of heavens, and humans too exist in layers. I continued, “Brother, your understanding goes quite deep. Now, Heaven is set to eliminate the CCP. Those who joined its organizations will be buried with it unless they quit in time. Just remember the two auspicious phrases, it will keep you safe and smooth your path.”

He told me that he had joined the Youth League, and asked me to help him quit. Then he suddenly gripped the steering wheel tightly with both hands and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” He asked, “Did I say it right?” I told him he did. He shouted it several more times.

One day, I planned to ride my electric tricycle to distribute truth-clarification materials in the market, but it wouldn’t start. Normally I would have given up, but deep down inside, I felt a force urging me to push the tricycle to the market to get it repaired. So my wife and I decided to go. About 500 yards from the market, we met a man in his 60s who was also walking in that direction. He said he lived over three miles away. My wife and I realized this was a predestined person that Master had arranged for us to meet. We told him about quitting the CCP to ensure his safety. He agreed to quit. I then handed him a truth-clarification booklet and told him to read it at home, as it explained things more clearly than I could. He helped me push the tricycle as we walked along and chatted some more.

After reaching the market, I thanked him for helping me. He smiled and said, “I should be thanking you for telling me so much.” In the end, the tricycle was repaired, all the truth-clarification materials were handed out, and five or six people quit the CCP.

I went out to buy a bag of cement one time, but the store’s door was locked. My elementary school teacher, Mr. Liu, was also waiting there. I went to find someone to call the store owner, then I chatted with Mr. Liu. I said, “Now that you’re retired, enjoying good health and a peaceful life are the most important. Have you heard about quitting the CCP to stay safe”

He responded, “Falun Gong, right? I’ve heard of it. But I haven’t quit.”

I said, “I’ve often thought of you, hoping you are safe and happy. Today, why not quit the CCP to stay safe?” He said he had joined the Communist Youth League and agreed to quit.

Just then, the shop owner returned. I helped Mr. Liu load the cement onto his tricycle. At that moment, another person came up and said to me, “We worked together years ago. Do you remember me?” I didn’t and apologized. I then told him about quitting the CCP and he also quit.

I was waiting for my wife outside the bank one day, when I saw a woman in her 50s. I chatted with her. She opened her wallet and said, “You gave me this amulet in the past. It stays in my wallet and goes wherever I go.”

I responded, “I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you. If you often recite the two auspicious phrases that are printed on it, you’ll receive blessings.”

She said, “Yes, I’ve truly been blessed. My children are doing well and my health is good. Everything has been great.”

“Keep reciting it, and you’ll receive even greater blessings,” I said. She smiled and said that every time she opens her wallet, she will recite those phrases.

Thank you, Master, for arranging all kinds of opportunities for sentient beings to be saved and for helping me fulfill my prehistoric vows. I feel so fortunate that Master chose me to be a Dafa disciple. Master has given me so much and no words can fully express my gratitude.
