Netherlands: Public Support to End Persecution of Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a Falun Dafa Information Day in Enschede on June 7, 2025, in the largest open-air market in the Netherlands. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, distributed introductory flyers, and talked to people about the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes this peaceful mind-body practice. People stopped to read the display boards and talk to practitioners. Many signed a petition calling to end the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

The largest city in the province of Overijssel, Enschede is surrounded by lush greenery and is known for its textile industry and soccer. Home of the oldest public park and largest open-air market in the Netherlands, the area attracts many tourists with its history, innovation, and culture.

Ms. Liu said she was born in Hong Kong but grew up in the Netherlands. After she learned how the CCP harvests organs from practitioners while they are alive, she said, “The Communist Party forces people to obey by using terror and violence. It also rules Hong Kong with violence.” Ms. Liu said she’s sad to hear from her extended family in Hong Kong about the situation there.

She told a practitioner, “Thank you for what you are doing. It’s so important to spread this information. People will try to break away from the CCP’s control after they see its true nature!”
