(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Case Against Ms. Guo Danxia Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Guo Danxia, 79, was arrested at home on May 16, 2025, by officers from the Lou District Police Department and Linxiang City Police Department. She was detained in the Yueyang City Detention Center and later transferred to the Guangji Hospital after developing a medical condition. The police have submitted her case to the Linxiang City Procuratorate.

2. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Xiaoru and Ms. Li Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. Lu Xiaoru and Ms. Li Yuzhen were arrested by officers from the Mucun Township Police Station on June 23, 2025, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Mucun Township Market.

3. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Wang Fenghua Arrested

Ms. Wang Fenghua from Yuanbaoshan Town, Baoshan District, was arrested by officers from the Yuanbaoshan Town Police Station on the evening of June 20, 2025. She has been detained since.

4. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Jingxian Arrested

Ms. Lu Jingxian was arrested at home around 11 p.m. on June 23, 2025. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books and photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. She was taken to the Dandong Lockup for 15 days and extorted for 1,200 yuan, including 200 yuan to pay for her physical examination.

5. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yuemei, 71, and Ms. Yu Xiuzhi, over 70, were arrested on June 3, 2025 and taken to the Pudong Detention Center.

Ms. Guo Xinxiang, 85, and Ms. Sui Guanghua, 78, were arrested by officers from the Zhugou Police Station on June 19, 2025. Ms. Guo was released later that day. Ms. Sui was taken to the Pudong Detention Center the next day, leaving her incapacitated husband to fend for himself.

6. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Fan Xuebin Detained

Mr. Fan Xuebin was arrested on June 13, 2025, and has been detained in the Yingkou City Detention Center.

7. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Chai Xiufang Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Chai Xiufang was arrested in April 2024. It was recently learned that she has been sentenced to prison and is preparing to appeal the verdict.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Xuesen and His Wife Ms. Li Ping Jailed for Their Faith

Ms. Li Ping, 85, from Weicheng District, was taken to the Shandong Province Women’s Prison on June 20, 2025. Her husband, Mr. Liu Xuecan, 90, was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center on June 23, 2025.

The couple were arrested in October 2020 and both were sentenced to six months on March 22, 2022. The authorities made several attempts to detain them in the past three years, but failed due to their physical condition.

9. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Runxiang Arrested

Mr. Wang Runxiang, 76, was recorded by surveillance cameras in early June 2025, while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Officers from the Hexi District Domestic Security Division ransacked his home on June 12, 2025 and confiscated his laptop, printer, Falun Gong books, and informational materials about Falun Gong. He was forced to undergo a physical examination and was released later that day.

10. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Guaiyan Admitted to Prison

Ms. Wang Guaiyan was sentenced to four years and fined 16,000 yuan by the Jintai District Court in April 2025. She appealed with the Baoji City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold her original verdict. She was transferred to the Shaanxi Province Women’s Prison on June 20, 2025.
