Poland: Rally in Front of Parliament Building Marks 26 Years of Persecution

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a rally in front of the Parliament building in Warsaw on July 22, 2025, to mark the 26th year they have peacefully called for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. They exposed and condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) atrocities, and called on Polish parliamentarians and people from all walks of life to recognize the CCP’s true nature, jointly stop the regime’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting, and end the persecution of Falun Gong.

The day marked the first day of the Parliament’s “Parliamentary Week” this month. At the rally, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and collected signatures from passing parliamentarians and citizens to end organ harvesting, which targets practitioners. Many people who learned about the persecution signed the petition.

Reporters from Poland’s ABC channel conducted in-depth interviews with Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners told them that the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Falun Gong Protection Act and the Stop Organ Harvesting Act this May, and said they hope the Polish Parliament will soon pass similar legislation. After the interview, the reporters uploaded the video to social media on-site. The video attracted attention, reaching 12,165 views in just three hours, with views continuing to rise.

Polish Parliamentarians Sign Petition to Support Practitioners’ Efforts

Polish parliamentarian Mr. Antoni stopped in front of the petition table despite being in a hurry. He said, “Although I’m rushing to a meeting, signing this petition is more important. Please continue to spread the goodness, truth, and kindness of Falun Gong to more people. I hope the persecution ends soon. Good luck to you.”

A car stopped beside the petition table. A Polish parliamentarian got out of the car, picked up a pen, and directly signed the petition with his name, Grzegorz. He said,“You are doing a great job. This activity is very important. I hope you persist. I support Falun Gong.”

After signing the petition, Polish parliamentarian Mr. Grzegorz said, “Falun Gong’s resistance to persecution brings hope to the world. I salute you!”

Calling for Justice and Making a Choice of Conscience

At the rally, Falun Gong representative Marcin delivered a speech to Polish parliamentarians, urging them to break their silence and make a choice of conscience.

He said, “Today, as a practitioner of Falun Gong, as a witness to the most brutal crime of this era, and as someone who firmly believes that truth will ultimately triumph over lies, I stand here in front of the central institution of a country that once showed the world the power of unity and the courage to say ‘no’ to totalitarian oppression. I call on Polish parliamentarians: today the world needs us to once again demonstrate the moral courage of the past and say ‘no’ to the CCP that persecutes Falun Gong.

“Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an ancient Chinese cultivation practice guided by the highest characteristics of the universe—Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—based on the principles of the universe’s evolution. It is a peaceful path of spiritual development, not a political movement. By 1999, 70 million to 100 million people in China alone had taken up this practice, bringing great benefits to society. Practitioners not only gained physical and mental health but also found the direction of life.

“This popularity frightened the Chinese Communist Party. On July 20, 1999, then-CCP leader Jiang Zemin, fearing the loss of ideological control over millions of independent-thinking citizens, issued the order to ‘eradicate’ Falun Gong.

“We know well that the Chinese Communist Party is not our partner but a threat to all our beliefs. The values of communism are diametrically opposed to those of humanity—cherishing life versus destroying life, protecting freedom of conscience versus ruthless trampling, choosing silence versus choosing truth; choosing to do business with a murderous regime for profit versus choosing to uphold moral dignity and stand tall as human beings. Today, each of us faces a crucial choice, and which side of history we stand on determines our future.”

Marcin appealed to parliamentarians: “Honorable parliamentarians, as representatives of a country that overthrew communism, do not allow the most evil version of communism to land in our nation. Please use your voice, your status, and your influence to:

1. Firmly condemn the persecution of Falun Gong in mainland China.2. Call for an immediate international investigation into organ harvesting.3. Legislate in Poland to prohibit so-called ‘organ transplant tourism’ to China.4. Support sanctions against Chinese officials directly responsible for these crimes.

“This is not a political demand, but a choice of our humanity. This is not a plea for mercy, but a call for justice. Let us uphold and practice the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance together, and make the right choice while there is still time.”

Polish Citizens Learn about the Facts and Condemn the CCP’s Atrocities

Practitioners told people about Falun Gong and how the CCP persecutes it. Polish parliamentarians and citizens signed the petition calling for investigation and sanctions to counter the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting.

Ms. Anna, a famous Polish theater and film actress who’s won multiple national awards, signed the G7+7 [Editor’s note: G7 countries + EU countries + Argentina, Australia, India, Israel, Mexico, South Korea, and Taiwan] petition upon seeing the Falun Gong informational materials.

She said, “Everyone should condemn such brutal crimes. We should not turn a blind eye.”

Ms. Krystyna stopped in front of the table, carefully read the petition, and had a long conversation with practitioners. She said, “Doctors are supposed to save lives, yet they are involved in the crime of organ harvesting. This is terrifying. We must not only strongly condemn it but also bring it to trial.”

She took some Falun Gong flyers to give to her relatives and friends, hoping more people would learn the truth.

Mr. Arek, who frequently travels to China for work, was deeply shocked when he saw the Falun Gong informational flyer, “How is this possible? It’s horrible. Just for upholding the beautiful principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, they are deprived of the right to live and subjected to organ harvesting. This is terrible and heartbreaking. You are amazing for standing firm in your belief and letting more people know the truth.”

He said, “Hearing that the United States passed the Act to Protect Falun Gong is great news. The international community must unite to condemn this crime. I will sign the petition to support Falun Gong practitioners' resistance to this persecution.”
