(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 33 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Chen Caiwang, Ms. Li Yun, Ms. Wu Hanxiang, Ms. Xiao Yuyan, Mr. Zhong Xiaoming, and Ms. Deng Liming were arrested by captain Mao Weibiao and nineteen officers from the Chibi City Police Department, when they were reading Falun Gong books in practitioner Fan’s home. The practitioners’ whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested, Two Family Members Detained

Ms. Chen Lixing and her son, Mr. Yang Sen, both non-practitioners, were arrested by officers from the Jinzhou City Police Department, Mayu Police Station, and Sizhilan Town Police Station on September 6, 2025. Ms. Chen was held in the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center, and Mr. Yang at Mayu Detention Center. Two days later, on the evening of September 8, 2025, Ms. Chen’s husband, Mr. Yang Zhihua, a Falun Gong practitioner, was arrested by Mayu Police Station officers.

Ms. Yang Ruijie was arrested by Mayu Police Station officers on September 15, 2025, and her home was ransacked.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Yingjie Arrested

Ms. Yu Yingjie was caring for her paralyzed mother on September 15, 2025, when three officers broke into her mother’s home and arrested her.

4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Lihui Arrested

Ms. Zhao Lihui, around 75, was arrested by officers from the Gongnong Police Station when she was talking to passersby about the persecution of Falun Gong on the morning of September 14, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She is still detained at the time of this writing.

5. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, Whereabouts of One Unknown

Ms. Zhong Qifen, Ms. Luo Wencui, and Ms. Luo Yingxiu were arrested by Luoshui Town Police Station officers on the morning September 15, 2025, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Luoshui Town. The police ransacked their homes and seized their Falun Gong books. Ms. Luo Wencui and Ms. Luo Yingxiu were released that night. Ms. Zhong’s whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Song Arrested

Ms. Song, near 80, was arrested by seven police officers on September 10, 2025. They ransacked her home and seized her Falun Gong books. She was taken to the police station for interrogation and forced to sign and fingerprint a police report.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Haizhen was arrested in early August 2025. She was detained for 37 days in the Zhonggong Detention Center and released on September 11.

Mr. Zhai Shanyong was arrested on July 30, 2025. He has since been held in the Guanzhuang Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Haijun was arrested on August 8, 2025. He is also being detained in the Guanzhuang Detention Center.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Xiaofeng Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Wang Xiaofeng, husband of Ms. Fu Yanfei, was arrested in May 2025. His whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Rongling Arrested

Mr. Li Rongling of Fushan District was arrested by officers from the Hebin Road Police Station on April 16, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail in the afternoon. Her daughter received a call on September 9 and was summoned to the procuratorate.

10. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Two Practitioners Released, One Still Detained

Mr. Wang Guoxiang, Ms. Bai Shengzhen, and Ms. Meng Xiangzhi were arrested during Ms. Wang Fenghua’s trial on September 8, 2025. Mr. Wang and Ms. Bai have since been released. Ms. Meng is still detained.

11. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin’s home in Beijia Village was ransacked on September 15, 2025, by director Wei Guanglei and eight officers from the Jiachun Township Police Station. The officers seized three printers, two notebook computers, 70 or 80 copies of Falun Gong books, printouts, four or five boxes printer paper, ink, and other printer consumables.

12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Yanchun and Ms. Cai Shaojie Detained

Ms. Zhou Yanchun and Ms. Cai Shaojie were arrested and taken to a detention center on August 27, 2025, by officers from the Xinchengzi Police Station. Their Falun Gong books and pictures of the founder of Falun Gong were seized by the police.

13. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Yun Imprisoned

Ms. Zhu Yun was admitted to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on September 15, 2025.

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Cao Detained

Mr. Cao, around 70, first name unknown, was arrested at home on September 11, 2025. He is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.

15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Guan Lianbin Detained

Mr. Guan Lianbin was arrested on August 20, 2025, by officers from the Songbei District Police Department, and has since been detained.

16. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhao Li Released from Prison

Ms. Zhao Li, a native of Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, was released from Chongqing Women’s Prison on September 15, 2025.
