(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yaping Formally Arrested
2. [Zoucheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained
3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Mingqiu and Ms. Li Xue’e Arrested
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
5. [Huade County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Gao Yu Detained
6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Nan Repeatedly Harassed
7. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Jieying Arrested
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Bo Detained
9. [Dongguang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Men Bincheng Released
10. [Jiexi County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Meihong and Ms. Hong Xirong Sentenced
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Huadi Harassed
1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yaping Formally Arrested
Ms. Wang Yaping was arrested outside of her home on December 3, 2025, by Nanhu Police Station officers, who ransacked her place and took her to the Shenyang First Detention Center. On December 17, her family was notified that her arrest had been approved.
2. [Zoucheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Ms. Lu Zhilan, Ding Li (gender unknown), and Ms. Huang Chunling were arrested on December 19, 2025, by officers from the Zoucheng Police Station, for giving out free Falun Gong desk calendars. Their homes were ransacked. They are being held in the Kanzhuang Lockup.
3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Mingqiu and Ms. Li Xue’e Arrested
Ms. Sun Mingqiu, in her 70s, and Ms. Li Xue’e, in her 80s, were arrested at their respective homes on December 25, 2025. Their homes were ransacked.
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
Gao Yonghui (gender unknown), was harassed at home on December 2, 2025, by officers from the Yangping Town Police Station. They seized a set of Falun Gong books.
Practitioner Zhang (gender and first name unknown), was also harassed the same day. His or her Falun Gong books were also confiscated.
Ms. Wang Rongxuan was harassed at home on December 3, 2025, by officers from the Yangping Police Station and the Dicun Police Station. They seized her Falun Gong printouts.
Ms. Zhao Xiufen was arrested on December 3, 2025, and taken to the police station. She was released the same day. Her Falun Gong books and printouts were confiscated.
Ms. Xiucai (family name unknown), was also harassed on December 3, 2025. Her Falun Gong book was seized.
5. [Huade County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Gao Yu Detained
Mr. Gao Yun and his wife work out of town. When they came home to visit their parents, Mr. Gao Yun was arrested on December 20, 2025, by officers from the Huade County Domestic Security Division and the Changshun Town Police Station. The police suspected him of distributing Falun Gong printouts, and ransacked his home. He is being held in the Huade Detention Center.
6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Nan Repeatedly Harassed
Ms. Liu Nan got a call from the Dengzhou Police Station on December 19, 2025. An officer requested to meet her and take photos of her. She turned him down.
She was harassed at work on December 24 by two officers from the Zijingshan Police Station. They claimed to be checking if her pharmacy was selling substandard drugs, and took photos of her without her permission.
Two Dengzhou Police Station officers knocked on her door on December 25. She refused to let them in.
7. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Jieying Arrested
Ms. Sun Jieying, in her 60s, was arrested at home on December 15, 2025, by Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division officers. They ransacked her place and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun. She was handcuffed and taken to the Zhaoyuan City Police Department for interrogation, and released later that day.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Bo Detained
Ms. Wu Bo was arrested at home by Chengguan Police Station officers on December 15, 2025. She was detained for ten days in the Dalian Lockup.
9. [Dongguang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Men Bincheng Released
Mr. Men Bincheng was tried by the Ningjin County Court on April 18, 2025, and sentenced to 18 months in prison. He was released on December 18, 2025.
10. [Jiexi County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Meihong and Ms. Hong Xirong Sentenced
Ms. Li Meihong and Ms. Hong Xirong were arrested by Hepo Town Police Station officers on May 13, 2024, when they were distributing Falun Gong flyers. They were admitted to the Jieyang City Lockup.
The Jiedong District Court held a virtual hearing of their case in early 2025. Ms. Hong was sentenced to a year in prison and was released after completing the prison term. Ms. Li was sentenced five years in prison and admitted to the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison in August 2025.
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Huadi Harassed
Mr. Wang Huadi was harassed at home on December 22, 2025. Two officers from Xinchengzi Street Police Station attempted to take his blood sample. He refused to cooperate.
