(Minghui.org) When Xi Jinping, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), visited the US in September 2026, the CCP-backed hackers compromised internal mailboxes at Minghui.org with the intention of cutting off access to the website by Falun Gong practitioners in China.

This might give the CCP-backed hackers personal information on practitioners in China, a significant safety risk for every one of us.

Reflecting on this, I realized I have developed some attachments while using the Minghui.org internal email over the years, and my attachments must be part of the loophole that was taken advantage of by the CCP hackers.

Not long after the CCP began persecuting Falun Dafa, I applied for an internal email account on the Minghui.org website. It was truly sacred. I now had a channel to communicate with Minghui, and I could finally send reports of the persecution in China directly to Minghui. I felt that practitioners in China were no longer alone, and that this conduit meant Dafa disciples inside and outside China could finally become one body.

Even when the persecution left me homeless, as long as I had internet access and a device, I could still stay in contact with Minghui.org.

Having an internal mailbox also enabled me to help fellow practitioners send their personal insights and experiences to Minghui.org. At first, I did this simply to help others. Gradually, though, I began to see it as an ability I had, as if I could do something special. As this attachment grew, I no longer felt the same sense of sacredness I had at the beginning.

Eventually, I set up five email accounts. I saved articles from Minghui.org that I thought would help practitioners improve their xinxing, printed them out, and passed them along. Because I believed certain articles could help practitioners improve their xinxing, I unconsciously put myself above them, as though I could guide them in their cultivation. This made it easy for negative thoughts to arise in my mind without my realizing it.

I want to acknowledge my mistake to Master Li. Master, your disciple knows he was wrong. Please forgive me and give me another opportunity to correct myself. I also sincerely apologize to practitioners. What I did did not align with the Fa. Please do not follow my example. Instead, let us all take the Fa as our standard.

Because practitioners were being persecuted, I used the internal mailbox to communicate with them at their request. Some of those messages may have contained sensitive information. I also kept many articles in the mailbox for an extended period, which wasted Dafa’s resources. I believe my actions may have contributed to the mailbox being hacked.

I treated the mailbox like an ordinary person’s cloud storage. I must use Dafa’s resources more effectively and eliminate this selfish attachment.

As I dug deeper, I realized I still had many hidden human attachments. Many other practitioners may have attachments similar to mine. We should not think that problems with the internal mailbox have nothing to do with us. We should send righteous thoughts more often and eliminate the factors that interfere with us. As part of the whole, this is our responsibility as Dafa disciples in China.

I vowed to assist Master with Fa-rectification, so I must eliminate anything that interferes with it.
