The Light of Dafa Shines on My Family

(Minghui.org) After the persecution of Falun Dafa started on July 20, 1999, I’ve been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), taken to brainwashing centers, dismissed from my job, and forced to leave my home, among other forms of persecution. Although I stumbled along my cultivation path, my faith in Master Li and the Fa never wavered. Compassionate Master has watched over and guided me.

My Hepatitis B Is Gone

I worked in the service industry, and I suffered from vascular neuralgia, heart disease, myocardial ischemia, and other ailments. A company physical examination revealed that I had hepatitis B, specifically Hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive, signifying high viral load and high infectivity. I had just begun practicing Falun Dafa at that time.

When the company needed a manager, I applied for the position. The leaders all knew I practiced Falun Dafa. One of them said, “You can have the position if you no longer have hepatitis B.” Another company physical a few months later showed that my hepatitis B was gone, and so were all my other illnesses. The company leaders and my coworkers were amazed that even hepatitis B was gone because I practiced Falun Dafa. The leaders gave me the management position. The work was dirty and tiring, but I did not mind. I was conscientious and I never took company property home. I conducted myself according to Dafa’s requirements and the leaders and my coworkers praised me. I was often named “model employee.”

After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, leaders at various levels came to talk to me, and pressured me to give up cultivation. One said, “We investigated your work performance at the company. Everyone thinks you’re a good person and work conscientiously. Just stop practicing Falun Dafa.”

I told him, “The reason I can do so well is because I practice Falun Dafa and conduct myself according to Master’s requirements — Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”

They offered me a promotion, but said in order to get it I had to give up cultivation. They left when I refused.

A leader came and talked about transformation—he was hinting that I needed to stop practicing Falun Dafa. I told him the story of The Farmer and the Snake, and said, “The farmer saved you, but you [the snake] said he was bad and bit him. I can’t do that.” He didn’t say anything and left.

Emergency Is Resolved

It was snowing lightly and the roads were slippery. I felt uneasy and told my daughter, “It’s snowing and slippery. Don’t go home today, stay at my place.” My home was close to my daughter’s workplace.

My daughter said it was fine and went home. Around 7 p.m. that evening my son called and said, “Sister was hit by a car. She’s okay, don’t worry.” I was stunned for a moment, but then thought, “It’s okay, Master is looking after her!” I asked Master to save my daughter, then I took a taxi to the hospital.

Her husband and the in-laws were there. My son-in-law said, “Mom, it’s okay. We didn’t tell you at first because we were afraid you’d worry. Now all the examinations are done, and she’ll be under observation for 24 hours.” I told my in-laws and daughter to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

After being observed all night she was fine. I saw the injuries on my daughter’s head, feet, legs, and half of her body. Her husband said, “Mom, look how powerful your daughter is. She dented the car this much” He showed me the photos he took with his phone, and I saw a van with a large dent in the front bumper.

My daughter told me that it wasn’t one vehicle that hit her, but two. “The van knocked me into the air. I heard a ‘bang,’ and after I landed on the ground, a car ran over me.”

Her coworkers heard the commotion. When they saw it was my daughter, they surrounded the van. The van driver said, “It wasn’t just my van that hit her.” We didn’t try to extort money from him. Master gave my daughter a second life! Thank you, Master! Thank you, Dafa!

Another time, my daughter ordered takeout at work. When she came home, as soon as she entered she needed to use the bathroom. She said, “Mom, something is wrong.” Her eyes were rolling back and her body was going into shock. Calling for an ambulance would be too late. My son-in-law happened to be home, so he quickly carried her downstairs. I held my granddaughter and didn’t even put on my shoes. I thought of Master. I asked Master to save my daughter and told her and my son-in-law to recite, “Falun Dafa is good.” I then called my daughter’s father and told him to get to the hospital quickly, as our daughter was in bad shape.

We rushed to the emergency room. I held my granddaughter and recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I was anxious. After a long period of time, my son-in-law came and told us that they didn’t find anything wrong—she was better now. After waiting a while longer, my son-in-law said that they would give her an injection and observe her for a bit. He suggested that I go home.

My daughter came home shortly afterward. When I asked what happened, she said that they didn’t find anything wrong. I told her to quickly thank Master! Master protected our daughter again.

My Aunt Is Healed Without Treatment

After I returned home from being held in a detention center in 2004, my second aunt, who lived in the countryside, became ill. She was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and required surgery. The hospital said surgery would cost approximately 60,000 yuan but they might not be able to save her. The family had several brothers, but none were willing to help. They were afraid of losing both their mother and the money since they were poor. My aunt decided to not have treatment and she waited to die.

I discussed the situation with my mother and said I would bring my second aunt to my home to do the Falun Dafa exercises with me. My eldest aunt said, “If your aunt’s illness is cured by practicing Falun Dafa, I’ll practice too.”

My second aunt agreed to come to my home. She couldn’t see things clearly, and had double vision and a headache. I told her that I didn’t have much money so we just had to eat whatever we had. I explained that the company only gave me 280 yuan for living expenses, and I had to pay for my daughter’s schooling. My mother usually helped financially.

I asked my aunt to read Zhuan Falun, but she said she couldn’t see. I read “On Dafa” (the preface to Zhuan Falun) to her. After I read it twice I asked her to try and she did. She exclaimed, “I can see the words clearly now! This is so miraculous!”

She read the Fa and did the exercises with me. She recovered very quickly. Within a few days she could walk downstairs. My aunt was so happy. She said that while she meditated, “I saw the true Buddha! Falun Dafa is really good! Now I understand why, despite the severe persecution, people still practice. Falun Dafa is so wonderful! I really didn’t think that someone the hospital had given a death sentence to would recover by practicing Falun Dafa without spending a penny!”

My aunt thanked Master Li and recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day. After a month, she was completely healed and went home. She’s now nearly 80 years old.

My Father Received Blessings Because He Recited “Falun Dafa Is Good”

Many people were infected with COVID during the pandemic, and some repeatedly tested positive, but my elderly father was fine. I knew it was because I gave him an amulet with “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” on it, which he wore every day. When relatives and friends called to ask how he was, and if he tested positive for COVID, he replied, “No, I haven’t. What does COVID feel like?”

He took the amulet off when I gave him a bath. He couldn’t find it afterward. When I asked what he was looking for, he told me he put the amulet under the pillow, but it wasn’t there. I saw he was very anxious, so I helped him look for it. We eventually found it in a drawer of the bedside table.

He recently developed an eye disease. Family members said if it didn’t get better, he should go to the hospital. My father refused and just kept reciting: “Falun Dafa is good!” A few days later it was gone.
