(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Dublin’s city center on February 21, 2026. They introduced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) and told tourists and local residents how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes the spiritual discipline.

Practitioners held activities in Dublin on February 21, 2026.

People stopped to watch practitioners do the exercises, and many signed the petition that calls to end the persecution. Irene and her friend Rowan from the Netherlands paused to learn more about Falun Dafa. “I like Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, because these are core values that everyone should follow,” said Irene. Rowan agreed.

Irene said she saw practitioners’ events in two cities in the Netherlands and she heard about the CCP’s persecution in China. “I did not know this persecution was so brutal,” she said. She was shocked to hear about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. She said it was absurd and unacceptable.

She and Rowan signed the petition and Irene said they were happy to talk with practitioners.

Eddie and his friend were shopping and they noticed the practitioners activity. He recalled reading about Falun Gong on social media. Eddie said. “I don’t know much about Falun Gong but I wish to learn more.”

“I like meditating. The first thing I do every morning is meditate for 20 minutes,” said Eddie. “In today’s world, every thing develops fast. The pace of life is fast and technology is advancing rapidly. It’s dazzling and difficult to calm down and reflect on one’s inner self. The benefits of meditation are undeniable.”

After he signed the petition, Eddie asked if he could take some photos. He said he wished to let more people know that in China, practitioners are tortured and even subjected to forced organ harvesting for their belief.

Martin stopped to chat with practitioners and explained that he was visiting his brother. He said he noticed practitioners doing the exercises and decided to see what their event was about. “I know they’re meditating, and I’ve read about Falun Gong,” Martin said. “I already knew that local Chinese people were protesting. They’re hardworking and kind people who can’t return to their homeland because they’re persecuted by the authorities.”

Martin supports practitioners.

Martin said he believes practicing Falun Gong brings one peace. “There’s a peaceful energy on your faces,” he told one practitioner. Turning to another, he added, “Yes, I can feel that energy—you also have that peaceful look.”

He signed the petition calling to for an end to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, and explained that he’s a Christian, and despite different faiths and races, “We’ve come into this world to help others.”
